• Sochi Arboretum

  

  Sochi Arboretum is one of the most visited places by tourists in central Sochi, which should definitely be included in your stay program. Here you will see traditional for the climatic zone of Russia and exotic plant species from around the world. As stated, there are more than 1 800 species, forms and varieties of tree and shrub species, 74 species of Pines, 66 species of Oaks, 54 species of Palms, cypresses, rare species of tropical and subtropical plants. The arboretum covers an area of more than 46 hectares and consists of two parts, upper and lower, they are visited by one entrance ticket. You will have to walk a lot and for a long time, so you should plan a visit for several hours, and preferably half a day. • Museum of sports glory of Sochi

  

  This is a thematic museum dedicated to the achievements of the city in the field of sports, and of course with a large section dedicated to the Olympic Games and the FIFA Cup 2018. • Museum of the USSR

  

  The Museum of the USSR is a kind of private museums that has already become Classic in many resorts, in which a collection of objects from the Times of the USSR is presented. • Museum of the history of the resort city of Sochi

  This is the main city Museum of local lore, telling about the history of the city since ancient times, when the place is modern. The collection of more than 4000 exhibits consists of an archaeological and ethnographic section, the nature of the region, the period of the Second World War and the USSR, modern achievements of the city and its formation as a resort. • Navaginskaya pedestrian street

  

  There are several pedestrian zones in Sochi, and Navaginskaya Street among them is the best place for walking in the center. It stretches from the very center in the area of the railway station and reaches the embankment near the Sea station. Along it there is a gallery of cafes and shops, and the alley itself is decorated with palm trees, flower beds, sculptures, with which tourists love to be photographed. • Riviera Park

  

  This is the main entertainment park of Sochi with children's and extreme attractions, a ferris wheel, a dolphinarium, a crocodile show, a mini-aquarium, a Penguins, a mini-zoo, a butterfly tail, alleys for walking and Recreation, several mini-museums, a fear room. The park is very large in area (but not in the amount of entertainment), and going here with the whole family you should plan to spend half a day on it, and, of course, a lot of money. Unfortunately, there are very few extreme attractions for older children and adults, and many of them are often on prevention. So, at the height of the season in July 2021, there was not a single extreme attraction that could be of interest to older children or adults. • Sochi Dolphinarium

  

  No major Black Sea resort can be without a dolphinarium, and the center of Sochi is no exception. The indoor year-round Sochi Dolphinarium hosts a classic show several times a day with the participation of Black Sea Dolphins, white whales and a sea lioness. Without visiting such a show, you simply can not leave the resort, especially if you are with children. And if finances allow, you can experience unforgettable impressions and get charged with emotions from swimming or diving with dolphins. True, it is worth saying that the price of visiting the Sochi Dolphinarium is significantly higher than at other resorts in Sochi, and by and large the program of the show is not much different. Therefore, if you are resting in Lazarevskoye or loo, for example, then it makes no sense to go to the Center for the sake of visiting the Dolphinarium, and it is better to go to the local one. • Drinking pump room in the "Riviera"

  

  Drinking pump room is not that an attraction or entertainment, but a place worth visiting. Here you can drink absolutely free of charge or take with you the therapeutic and dining mineral water from the Plastunsky spring. Water is extracted not directly here in the park, but from a well from a depth of 550 meters in the Khostinsky district, and is delivered to the pump room. Nevertheless, it retains all its medicinal properties, information about which is posted on the stand inside the pump room. Since water is a therapeutic canteen, there are no contraindications for it, and you can drink it in any quantities, of course within reasonable limits. • Sochi Art Museum

  The main collection of the D. D. Zhilinsky Sochi art museum consists of sections Russian art of the XIX-XXI centuries, antique silver and cold weapons, graphics of the XIX-XXI centuries, Russian expanses (painting of the XX century), and temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists and Classics are held here. • Historic boulevard

  

  Historical Boulevard is sometimes called "secret Boulevard", although, of course, there is nothing secret in it, and many tourists walk along it, not even suspecting that this is a landmark. In general, historically this place has always been called "upper embankment", and today a pedestrian route called "historical Boulevard" has been conditionally organized here. This is a walking route in the center of Sochi, which runs from the Sea station to the Winter theater, but not along the embankment, but parallel to it and a little higher. A few years ago there were abandoned footpaths, but now they have been updated and equipped, signatures have been installed to historical sights and monuments, signs, a route map and even QR codes in the most interesting places so that you can get more information about them. • Sochi Sea Terminal

  

  This is one of the symbols of the city and an important point for reference, an architectural landmark of federal significance. The building of the sea station was opened in 1955, and the work was carried out under the supervision of famous Soviet architects K. S. Alabyan and L. B. Karlik. For tourists today, this is a beautiful majestic building, from where many tourist "adventures" begin. So, here starts a new walking route along the historical Boulevard, from here begins the main embankment of Sochi and the city beaches. • Cathedral Of The Archangel Michael

  

  This is the oldest Orthodox Church in Sochi, built from 1874 to 1891. During the periods of Soviet power, it was closed for a short time from 1931 to 1944, and was used as a warehouse. • St. Vladimir's Cathedral

  

  The Church of the Holy equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir is a modern church. Its construction began in 2004, and was completed only in 2011. But for its short history, the temple managed to become one of the symbols of the city and its "calling card". • Orekhovsky waterfall

  

  This is one of the closest to the center, and the second highest in all of Sochi. The height of its two cascades is 27 meters, which roughly corresponds to the height of an eight – story house. It is easily accessible by city buses, private car or with a tour, and go a little on foot directly to the waterfall itself. At its base there is a swimming pool and the Sochi river flows, where the most resistant can swim in cool water. Nearby there is a cafe and a landscaped Recreation Area (paid). Adler and Sirius

• Olympic Park

  

  This is the main and largest attraction of Adler. If someone else does not know, then it was originally created for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014, and around the Olympic facilities the Sochi Autodrom race track was equipped for the Royal F1 car races and others. • Singing fountains in the Olympic Park

  

  The singing fountains in the Olympic Park are one of the resort's most visually impressive attractions. To watch this light and sound show, people even come here from other resorts and from the center of Sochi with excursions or on their own. The show is accompanied by modern and classical music, including Russian and foreign hits. • Sochi Park amusement park

  

  This is the most grandiose theme park in Adler and in the whole of Greater Sochi, stylized as the cultural and historical heritage of Russia, or a kind of Russian "Disneyland". On the territory there are more than 20 extreme and children's attractions, several playgrounds, a dolphinarium and Aquarium, a mini zoo, an anti-Museum, a children's play complex "country of bears", a fairy tale theater and its own 4-star hotel. • Southern Cultures Park

  

  This is a botanical garden and a landscaped open-air park, well equipped for walking paths and places to relax, decorated with fountains and sculptures. Its history began in 1910, when the general and mayor of St. Petersburg founded The Manor Park on this site. • Revived Park

  The revived Park is a unique visual entertainment project organized on part of the territory of the Park "Southern cultures". With the arrival of darkness, plants and sculptures are illuminated by LED lights and laser illumination, creating an incredible and indescribable feeling of a magical place. Lighting effects are complemented by sound, which further enhances the effect of light installations. A walk through the park is organized in the form of a circular walking route with a length of one and a half kilometers, in time it takes 1-1.5 hours,while the time spent on the route is not limited. • Natural Ornithological park of Imereti lowland

  

  Before the appearance of the Imereti resort, the Imereti lowland was a protected natural area, declared as such in 1911. During the development of the territory and the construction of the resort, the marshland was drained, which greatly changed the ecosystem. In order to at least partially preserve the ecosystem and its inhabitants, natural Ornithological parks were formed. One of these parks stands out. • Adler District History Museum

  

  This is a small local history museum, which rests almost entirely on the enthusiasm of its employees. His collection as of 2021 is huddled in a modest room in the building of the Department of culture and consists of only a couple of halls filled with exhibits telling about the life and history of the Adler District of the IX and XX centuries. The exhibits are few and not very spectacular, everything can be viewed in 5 minutes. But along with a tour from enthusiastic museum workers, his visit will be interesting and useful. • Museum of sports and classic cars or "Sochi Auto Sport Museum"

  

  This is a museum of cars and motorsport, collected by a private collector. The exposition presents several thousand exhibits dedicated to the history of cars and motorsport, including smaller models of cars, caps, helmets, costumes of racers and mechanics, cups, wheels, awards. But the most important thing is more than 40 sports and classic cars in the original. Among them is a real F1 car-Jaguar R5B 2004, a car for Drag Racing Dodge Viper, ultra-fast Jaguar XJ220, the legendary DeLorean DMC from the movie "Back to the future" and others. • Tesla electric Museum

  

  Informative and entertaining museum, introducing visitors to the nature of electricity and its properties. The visit is an excursion to get acquainted with the inventions of scientist Nikola Tesla, and then in an entertaining interactive form, visitors are shown a show program with lightning. • Leonardo da Vinci Mechanical Museum

  

  This is another informative and entertaining museum dedicated to the great artist, scientist and inventor. The exhibits are mechanisms and machines recreated according to drawings and diagrams left by Leonardo, including: perpetual motion machines, flying machines, catapult, crossbow, trebuchet (throwing machine), auxiliary mechanisms, etc. Some of them can be touched and activated, and guides tell about the purpose and principle of work. • Adler Central (Indoor) Market

  

  It is here that it is best to go in order to buy souvenirs and gifts home, or something tasty or hot for rest. The rows sell fresh fruits (but not all local, often imported), sweets, teas, spices, dried fruits, honey, fish, cheeses. Churchkhella alone can be counted here several dozen species, and from the variety of halva, pastille, pahvala and other types of oriental sweets, the eyes simply run away. • Sochi Discovery World Aquarium

  

  This aquarium in pseudo-guides on the Internet is described and positioned as the best and largest in Russia. In fact, this is not so, and it is inferior to the aquarium in Moscow in size, and in terms of the diversity of inhabitants it is not much better than other oceanariums in large cities and resorts of the Russian Federation. But if you've never been to a tunnel aquarium, it's definitely worth a visit. In addition to the tunnel with a length of 44 meters, there are 30 large aquariums with underwater inhabitants, and the "highlight" is a show with mermaids and feeding sharks. • Adler Dolphinarium

  

  Classic open-air Dolphinarium. Performances are held with the participation of sea lions, fur seals, Black Sea Dolphins and a real rarity - white polar whales. • Amphibius Water Park

  

  Amphibius, although not the largest water park on the coast (the largest in Gelendzhik), but one of the most comfortable to visit, and especially with children. The fact is that although it is in the open air, the water here is heated, which makes it possible to visit it even in the low season. True, heating is not always included, it all depends on the weather, so check this before buying tickets. Otherwise, this is a standard small water park with a set of 16 not very extreme slides for adults, a zone for children, a sunbathing area, a cafe, etc.not all slides are available for children under 7 years old. • Monkey kennels

  

  The nursery operates under the state "Research Institute of medical primatology". In total, more than 4 thousand monkeys live in the research institute to test drugs and vaccines on them, and a small part is kept in cages and is available for inspection by visitors, as in a zoo. • Excursion to Abkhazia

  

  Adler and the village of Sirius are the best places from where you can go on excursions to Abkhazia, because the border crossing is very close in the village of Veseloe. However, you can buy such excursions at any other resort in Sochi. Sightseeing tours to Gagra, New Athos and Sukhum are offered; trips to the Reserve on Lake Ritsa are very popular; there are tours to thermal springs; extreme jeep tours. • SkyBridge suspension bridge and Skypark extreme amusement park (AJ Hackett)

  

  This is a complex of extreme entertainment in Sochi, located on the road to the mountain resorts of Krasnaya Polyana. The basis of the Skypark is the SkyBridge Suspension Bridge (read "SkyBridge"), stretched over the Akhshtyr Canyon and the Mzymta River at an altitude of 207 meters. In addition to walking on the bridge for an additional fee, you can try really extreme rides at the limit: Bungy Jumping, Zipline, high-speed troll MegaTroll, the world's highest SochiSwing swing, rock climbing along the Via Ferrata track, rope park. • Akhshtyr cave

  

  It will not please you with bizarre formations of stalactites and stalagmites, will not surprise you with its gigantic size. Nevertheless, it is known and remarkable for the artifacts found in it during excavations: the remains of a cave bear, which was supposedly eaten by Neanderthals; traces of charcoal fires; remains of tools of ancient people. • Akhshtyr Gorge (canyon)

  

  Some pseudo-guides on the Internet describe the Akhshtyr Gorge (canyon) as one of the most notable sights of Sochi and an incredible creation of nature. In our opinion (the authors of the site) these are rather advertising exaggerations. In fact, the Akhshtyr Canyon is just a long deep gorge (about 200 Meters) formed by the Mzymta River in the rocks, and one of the stopping points for a few minutes during group excursions, and nothing more. • Chvizhepse mineral spring and bear corner

  

  This narzan mineral spring is the only one in Sochi, the water of which is officially recognized as therapeutic, and as stated by the guides, has a "rejuvenating effect". You can drink water from a cup and even pick it up with you. It is located in a drinking pump room with Paid Access (200 USD), so in our opinion (the authors of the site) this is a typical "tourist trap", not worth a visit. • Deep pit or Dragon's mouth

  

  This is one of the highest waterfalls in Sochi and in the entire Krasnodar Territory, its height is more than 41 meters. It is formed by the waters of the deep Yar River near the place of its confluence with the Mzymta. What is remarkable is that it consists of the upper part (this is a visible waterfall that breaks off the cliff) and underground (water comes out at the bottom from a crevice in the rock). • Temple-fortress of IX century and eco-trail "Abaski"

  

  The paid Eco-Trail "Abaski" runs between the popular Glubokiy Yar waterfall and the Akhtsu Recreation Center, its length is 1200 meters. Therefore, we highly recommend passing it in conjunction with a visit to the waterfall, and especially just for a walk along the trail, we would not recommend going here. The trail is quite easy to visit, without sharp ascents and descents, there is a very steep climb only from the waterfall to the fortress. • Trout farming

  

  Trout farming in the village of Cossack Brod is engaged in fish farming and is available for tourists to visit. The farm has a restaurant and a company store "Goldfish", guided tours of the farm. Of course, you should not expect entertainment and information from his visit, and go here only as a tourist attraction. But if you want to try fresh trout during your vacation in Sochi or Adler, then there is no better place to find. • Ivanovsky waterfall

  

  A relatively small and little-known waterfall on the Psakho River. Located on the territory of the Sochi National Park, respectively, the entrance to it is paid. Its height is about 10 meters. In Khosta and Khostinsky district

• Khosta Museum

  

  The Small Local History Museum of Khosta consists of only one Hall. The collection is quite modest, consists mainly of photos and documents telling about the development of the area as a resort and the period of the Second World War. There are few natural fossils and objects of the Second World War, dishes, household items of the XX century. To be honest, the state of the museum is simply depressing, and it seems that it rests only on the enthusiasm of its employees. But if you do not regret paying an additional 100 rubles per person for excursion support, you will learn a lot of new and interesting things about the resorts of the Khostinsky district. • Stalin's dacha Museum

  

  This is one of the few historical and informative museums in Sochi. In the entire rather large structure of the dacha, only 3 rooms are open to the public. Original parquet, some doors and stairs, furniture are preserved. But the exhibits that recreate the situation are replaced by replicas or modern things. Therefore, if you expect to see luxury and a spectacular exhibition here, we advise you to look for another museum to visit. If you are ready to pay for a tour and listen to an interesting tour about the history of the dacha and the habits of the "leader of the peoples", then the visit will be interesting. • Abandoned sanatorium Ordzhonikidze

  

  This is one of the iconic architectural sights of Sochi, the heritage of the USSR. The complex of several buildings and an extensive well-groomed territory at one time has been in disrepair since 2010. Today it has become a place of attraction for tourists for walks and photo shoots. We would not include this attraction in the number of mandatory visits during a holiday in the resorts of Sochi, but if you have already looked at everything and have nothing to do, then you can look here, especially since it is not difficult to get to it from almost any place in Greater Sochi. • Vorontsov caves

  

  If you have to choose one cave to visit in Sochi, we would definitely recommend this one. Of course, we are talking about the choice among caves equipped for tourist visits, and not about Speleological caves for professionals or advanced enthusiasts. The system of Vorontsov caves is the most branched and Extended of them. The investigated part of the passages has a length of more than 11 kilometers. The halls are filled with bizarre stalactites and stalagmites, the ceiling and floor are connected by columns formed over millions of years from fused stalactites and stalagmites. • Mount Akhun

  

  This is a natural and architectural landmark at the same time, and the highest observation deck in Sochi. The height of the summit is 663 meters. At the top is an observation tower with a height of 30.5 meters, built in 1936 and recognized as an architectural monument of federal significance. The tower can be climbed for a fee of 100 rubles, there is a panoramic observation deck. Also near the top there are the ruins of a chic restaurant of the Soviet period, which can be viewed for free. • Agur gorge

  

  The gorge is formed on the river Agurchik (Agura), which, winding, passes between the rocks of the gorge, forming several waterfalls and water slides along the way. Along the river there is a picturesque hiking route belonging to the Sochi National Park, and accordingly the entrance to it is paid (100 USD). In front of the entrance (ticket offices) on the left there is an abandoned hot spring, and 800 meters from the ticket office along the Agur gorge street there is another remarkable place - Vysotsky glade with a statue of a musician. • Eagle Rocks and Prometheus

  

  This is a remarkable and well-known place in Sochi, but as a separate natural attraction for visiting, we would not recommend it, especially since presumably individuals charge 150 rubles for admission to replenish their personal budget, since tickets are not issued when paying. But to go to the Eagle Rocks during the passage of the ring route along the nearby Agur Gorge is definitely worth it, especially since the gorge is most interesting to visit in the form of a ring route through the rocks. • Psaho Dry Canyon

  

  An easy hiking route along the bottom of the dry Psaho Canyon is one of the most beautiful and unique in its origin. It is believed that it was formed about 150 million years ago, when these lands were the bottom of the ancient Tethys Ocean. It is a crevice in the rocks with a width of 2 to 7 meters, and the height of the walls in the highest places reaches 20 meters, which is approximately equal to the height of a seven-story house. Its length is about 400 meters. At the bottom of this crevice passes this simple tourist route lasting 20-30 minutes. It can be visited in conjunction with the wet Psaho Canyon. • Wet Psaho Canyon

  

  This is a hiking route of the Sochi National Park along the gorge formed on the mountain river Psakho, a tributary of the Kudepsta River. The Psakho River is low-water, in autumn and winter it turns into a stream, but for millions of years its waters have washed a beautiful canyon with water slides, small waterfalls and washouts in the rock. Nature decorated the banks with red boxwood, hung with thick moss. The route is equipped in the form of wooden bridges with railings 200 meters long, it can be completed in 10 minutes. Despite the enthusiastic descriptions of the wet Psaho Canyon in commercial guidebooks, we will not recommend it for a mandatory visit. • Canyon white rocks and Navalishchenskoe gorge

  

  This is one of the most beautiful places in the Khosta region of Sochi. We definitely recommend it to visit if you are staying for a holiday in central Sochi and in the resorts to the South (Matsesta, Khosta, Adler, Sirius). However, almost all pseudo-guidebooks on the internet give incorrect information about the gorge and how to visit it, apparently reprinting "tourist fake" each other. The gorge itself as a tourist attraction is often confused by guidebooks with the cafe and Recreation Area of the same name, which are located at the end of the gorge downstream. But the real tourist route is in a completely different place. It is called the "White Rocks" tourist route of the Sochi National Park, the entrance to it is paid. • Yew-boxwood Grove

  

  This is one of the most popular one-day hiking trails in beautiful natural places. Its popularity is due to its convenient location (easily accessible by Transport and with excursions to Khosta, Adler, Sirius, the center of Sochi), beautiful views, as well as a variety of attractions along the route.

  The visit is paid, 300 rubles. You can walk in a large (1 hour) or small circle (2-4 hours), along the route "into the depths of the centuries", or all at once. Along the way you will see a sinkhole, several beams, a cave, a clearing, a spring, a giant Yew, a labyrinth in a stone fault, the ruins of a Byzantine fortress (in fact, only the foundation and a pile of stones). The most beautiful and interesting part of the route, in our opinion, passes on a large circle along the Khosta river through the relict Yew-boxwood forest, decorated by nature with green moss. • Devil's Gate Canyon

  

  It is located on the Khosta River and is formed by rock walls up to 50 meters high, tapering in the narrowest places to a width of several meters. Along it there is a hiking trail with stairs and railings, the banks are decorated with dense green forest, including relic boxwood and trees hung with clusters of beautiful moss. This is both a paid and free attraction. The fact is that part of the canyon is part of a paid tourist route along the Yew-boxwood Grove, the trail is called "into the depths of the centuries". On its own, it is a little more than an outstanding attraction, and is mainly visited for swimming and relaxing in the cafe of the same name at the entrance, or to have a picnic in a spacious clearing. • Zmeikovsky waterfalls

  

  Zmeikovsky is a cascade of four waterfalls located for about one kilometer on the Dikarka River. They are located in the vicinity of Central Sochi, 20 kilometers by road, but in fact this is already the territory of the Khostinsky district, so it is convenient to visit them both from the center and from Khosta, Adler or Sirius. To see all the waterfalls, you need to take a simple hiking route along the canyon and along the riverbed. There are four large waterfalls here, and between them there are several small water slides and waterfalls. The most beautiful and larger is the farthest, and it is worth setting aside a couple of hours to go to it. It is best to go here for half a day and plan a vacation in nature with a picnic and swimming in refreshing water in natural pools on the river or at the foot of waterfalls. • Azhek Waterfalls

  

  Azhek is a chain of several waterfalls and water slides on the Azhek River, a tributary of the Sochi River. They are relatively close to the center of Sochi, only 20 kilometers away, but they are among the most difficult to reach. To visit them, you will have to go on a small hiking trip through the forest along a route of medium difficulty with a length of 6 kilometers, and first you still have to get to the beginning of this hiking route. You can get to it by car or by city bus, but then another 2 kilometers from the stop will be added to The Walking part of the route. For reference, the time from the parking lot to the first (lower) waterfall on foot in both directions should be laid at least 3 hours. In Lazarevskoye

• Svir gorge

  

  This is a simple hiking scenic tourist route along the rocky gorge and along the river Svirka. Along the way you will see three large waterfalls Svirsky", "mother-in-law tears" and "Adam and Eve" and a dozen tiny waterfalls and water slides, and a dolmen. The route is equipped with paths, stairs and bridges to cross the river, there is a clearing for recreation and picnics. In the clearing there are tables and benches, and even a stationary barbecue, where you can fry a barbecue on your coals. Since the gorge is located on the territory of the Sochi National Park, you will have to pay for the entrance as well as for all tourist trails of the Reserve. The route is not circular, its total length in both directions is 9.5 kilometers. To pass them completely, it will take from 4 hours, but for a leisurely walk, rest in the clearing and swimming in the pools of the waterfall it is better to allocate a whole day. • Crab gorge

  

  This is another eco-trail for a simple hike into nature in Sochi National Park on the outskirts of Lazarevskoye. The route runs along an unnamed stream, which is a tributary of the Psezuapse River. And the gorge itself got its name because freshwater crabs are found in the clear waters of the stream. In comparison with other eco-routes in the neighborhood does not stand out, and in our opinion (the authors of the site), if you have already visited other eco-trails of the Sochi National Park, nothing will surprise you here. • Eco-Trail Berendeyevo Kingdom

  

  This is a simple tourist hiking route near Lazarevskoye in the Mammadov gap. Each of the places on the trail is given a name in honor of the fairy tale. Ostrovsky's "Snow Maiden". Here you will see several small waterfalls, ancient structures dolmens and menhirs, you can swim in natural pools of fonts. Along the Eco-Trail grow red book plant species,including a rare species of Boxwood-Boxwood Colchis. • Mammadovo gorge Eco-Trail

  

  Mammadovo gorge (also Legends of Mammad) is one of the many uncomplicated one-day tourist routes of the Sochi National Park. It runs along the kuapse riverbed along the bottom of the gorge and is well equipped with paths and signs for tourists without hiking experience to pass. During the walk you will see several waterfalls and water slides with swimming pools, Dolmen "healer" and "Kuapse", stone blockage, Colchis forest and fascinating natural views. • 33 waterfalls

  

  There are many waterfalls in the mountainous regions of Sochi, but if you really choose to visit something during your vacation, then we would definitely recommend visiting the "33 waterfalls" in the Valley of the Shakhe River in the Lazarevsky district. In fact, most vacationers will not be able to see all 33 waterfalls, but only 13 of the most easily accessible and equipped with a convenient path and stairs. The reason is that organized group excursions, with the help of which this place is most often visited, are limited in time: usually no more than an hour is given for a walk and rest at the waterfalls, which is clearly not enough to get to the rest of the slightly more inaccessible ones. But if you really want to, you can see the other 20, although for this you will have to come here on your own and you will need to walk along the river along unequipped trails, which not everyone can overcome. In terms of time, the full route will take 2-4 hours with rest and swimming in natural pools (fonts), and if you are ready to limit yourself to easily accessible waterfalls, you can easily see them in half an hour. • Volkonsky Dolmen

  

  Volkonsky is a one-of-a-kind monolithic Dolmen (carved from a single piece of stone, or rather right in the rock), preserved in excellent condition. This is one of the most visited dolmens by tourists in the entire Krasnodar Territory and a place of pilgrimage for believers of non-traditional religions and sectarians. It is part of the easy tourist route "Volkonskoe gorge" of the Sochi National Park. In addition to the Dolmen itself, you can walk around its surroundings, walk along the Godlich stream (in summer it dries up), see the hydrogen sulfide spring and walk along the path to The Rock "Two Brothers", which is associated with a beautiful legend about love. • Wonder beauty and cool waterfalls

  

  Two waterfalls miracle beauty and cool are on the short tourist route "tract miracle beauty" in the Sochi National Park. The trail is extremely simple, runs along the stream on equipped bridges and steps, and will lead you first to the first waterfall miracle beauty (it is also called "tender"), and then to the cool. • Stone blockage and waterfall "shameless" in Lazarevskoye

  

  This is another of the countless tourist routes of the Sochi National Park. It is little known, rarely visited by tourists, and, frankly, we also do not particularly recommend visiting it, but it is impossible not to mention it. The route is poorly equipped, the walk to the waterfall will be almost extreme with jumping over rocks and walking on water, if it (water) of course will be. The fact is that by the middle of summer the stream almost dries up, filling with water only after prolonged torrential rains. Accordingly, instead of a waterfall, you have a chance to see only a thin trickle of water, or even just wet stones. The only plus of this place is that there are very rarely tourists. • Water park "Morskaya Zvezda" in Lazarevskoye

  

  An open-air water park with adult and children's slides, saltwater pools, a recreation area and a full complex of infrastructure for recreation. It is not very large, rather even small, so do not expect a "wow" effect from it if you have previously been to large water parks. Adults and teenagers can have fun on Eleven slides, but for primary school children there are very few options for entertainment: just one slide and pools. • Water park "Nautilus" in Lazarevskoye

  

  "Nautilus" is almost twice as large in area as "starfish", but it is impossible to say unequivocally that it is "cooler". In fact, the slides here are even less than in the "Morskaya Zvezda", although they are a little more extreme. It is worth noting that despite its two hectares of occupied area, it still looks somewhat modest compared to large water parks, such as Amphibius in Adler. There are only 7 slides, but they are extreme and high. The coolest – tsunami and Kamikaze. • Ethnographic Museum in Lazarevskoye

  

  This is the only museum in Lazarevskoye. It is devoted to the history and life of the indigenous population in the territory of modern Sochi since ancient times, mainly the small adygs-shapsugs. The museum is quite small, consists of three halls. The exhibition will also not surprise with its variety and informative content. But since this is the only educational museum of Lazarevsky, we still advise you to visit it, because nowhere else can you clearly learn about the history of these places and the resort. • Amusement park in Lazarevskoye

  

  Lazarevsky park of culture and Recreation is the main place for active recreation and entertainment at the resort, not counting, of course, beach entertainment. Here is the highest ferris wheel in Russia (83 meters), Dolphinarium, Penguins, House of horror, rope park, roller coaster, circuit, kamikaze, Tower of fall and other children's and adult attractions. The territory is literally surrounded by Subtropical greenery, and is suitable not only for entertainment, but also for leisurely walks. • Ferris wheel in Lazarevskoye

  

  The ferris wheel in Lazarevskoye is the highest in Russia, its height is 83 meters. Therefore, we advise every guest of the resort to ride on it. There are open and closed cabins, you can choose which one you like best. From above there is a view of the coast and surrounding mountains, so it does not hurt to bring binoculars or a good camera with zoom (approximation) in order to examine the surroundings in detail in 8 minutes of wheel rotation. And they say that in good weather you can even see the Turkish coast, but this statement is very doubtful, because to Turkey in a straight line more than 300 kilometers.

• Dolphinarium "Morskaya Zvezda" in Lazarevskoye

  

  This is a closed-type Dolphinarium, performances are held in it all year round. The performance lasts about 40 minutes and is accompanied by incendiary music and comments from the presenter with the participation of trainers and their wards: 4 Dolphins, a navy SEAL, 4 beluga whales and a walrus. In addition to traditional entertainment shows, "Morskaya Zvezda" offers dolphin therapy sessions (swimming and communication with dolphins). • Lazarevsky Dolphinarium

  

  This Dolphinarium is also of a closed type, i.e. performances and swimming with dolphins take place here all year round. The dynamic show takes place to the music and jokes of the host with the participation of Black Sea bottlenose dolphins, white polar beluga whales, northern fur seals and a sea lion (sea lion). • Dolphinarium "Coliseum" in Lazarevskoye

  

  This is another indoor dolphinarium in Lazarevskoye, where performances with animals are held all year round. This is the smallest of the three dolphinariums, and judging by the reviews of visitors, the performance here is the simplest and shortest in time. • Loo Embankment

  

  In the central part of the resort there is a moderately beautiful and equipped pedestrian promenade with a length of 500 meters. This is the main Walking place in loo, because the layout of the resort is extremely inconvenient, and there are simply no other places for walking. Simple children's and adult attractions are located here, tour operators work, Afro-braids are woven, fast food, draft drinks and souvenirs are sold. • Aqualoo Water Park

  

  Aqualoo water park is unique among all water parks in Greater Sochi. The fact is that this is the only year-round water park, consisting of an indoor part (Winter part), as well as a playground with slides and outdoor pools (summer part). It is part of the hotel complex, where you can stay for the entire period of your vacation. In winter there is nothing much to do here: there is little entertainment and it is boring. But in the summer the water park opens in all its glory. In the Open-Air area there are several extreme slides, a children's area, a huge swimming pool with artificial waves and sea water, sun loungers and umbrellas, a cafe. • Dolphinarium No. 1 "Loo"

  

  This is a typical Dolphinarium, which are many on the Black Sea coast. Black Sea Dolphins, fur seals, white whales participate in an incendiary performance with music, jokes and involvement of the audience. If you and your children have never been to dolphinariums, then be sure to visit it during your vacation. If you have already been to the dolphinariums at large resorts, for example, in one of the dolphinariums in Lazarevskoye, you will not see anything special here. • Recreation Area and waterfall "Paradise delight"

  

  Paradise delight is a recreation complex in the vicinity of loo, consisting of a cafe of the same name, an equestrian base, a playground, an ethnographic museum, a mill and a hiking route through the forest along the gorge of the Loo River to the Paradise delight waterfall. You can come here for a whole day to eat in a cafe, while children ride horses or play on the playground, or you can just walk along a simple walking route to the waterfall and visit the free Ethnographic Museum. • Recreation Area "Mountain Eden"

  

  Mountain Eden is a tourist complex for recreation with a small beautiful garden of tropical and subtropical plants, a tea plantation, a source of mineral water, a restaurant with a large hall for celebrations, a fountain, a swimming pool, an artificial waterfall and a barbecue area. You can come here during the day as an excursion to walk around the garden and get water from the mineral spring, eat in the restaurant. And if you wish, you can stay for a night or more, for which there are rooms. Unfortunately, the entrance to this complex is paid, 250 rubles. • Witches ' Gorge

  

  Witches Gorge or tourist route and Waterfall Witch Gorge-this is one of the many tourist routes of the Sochi National Park, and the only route of its kind in the area of the resort of loo. Hiking to the waterfall is simple, easily overcome in both directions for a couple of hours of leisurely walking, but you have to go up. If you do not want to walk, you can buy a jeep tour. The culmination of the route is the waterfall Witch Gorge, also known as Metsekt, rainbow or waterfall of love, and nearby there is another waterfall "maiden's tears". • Ruins of a Byzantine temple or Luo temple

  

  This is the only historical landmark in Loo, a monument of federal significance. But objectively, the ruins of the temple are not particularly interesting, and you will spend no more than 5 minutes here. In addition, the entrance to them is paid, 200 rubles. • Church of the Apostle Simon the Canaanite

  

  This is a modern temple, built in 2009 on the site of the old temple, but for a short period of its existence has become one of the visiting cards of the resort of loo, so poor in attractions. The new church is still being completed, and in the old wooden building there is a Sunday school. • Dagomys troughs

  

  This is another object of Sochi National Park, which can be visited from Loo or Dagomys. This originally natural attraction in the form of natural spacious fonts in the canyon of the mountain river Dagomys has now turned into a recreation area of two cafes, baths, gazebos for picnics. The places here are beautiful, but if you have already been to other canyons and gorges of the Sochi National Park, then this place is hardly impressive. In addition, at the height of the season, and especially on weekends, a lot of people gather here, many of whom have fun from the heart and to the fullest with loud music, alcoholic beverages and accompanying behavior. • Tea houses and tea plantations in Uch-Dere

  

  If you really have nothing to do in loo, you can go during the day to the microdistrict-the village of Uch-Dere, where, as stated, there are the northernmost tea plantations in the world. If you have never been to tea plantations and do not know how the most popular drink in the world is grown and processed, you can learn about it in the "tea houses" with a tour. It includes a walk around the Plantation, a guide's story and a tea party. And, of course, here you can buy fresh tea. In the houses themselves there is an ethnographic exhibition. Unfortunately, the price for visiting this attraction is clearly overstated, but if you do not regret the time and have an extra 450 rubles, you can visit. • Museum of Krasnodar tea and retro cars

  

  This museum presents two private collections: vintage cars and Krasnodar tea. It was founded in 2010 by local collector Sergey Abramchuk. In the museum, he collected and restored old Soviet, American and other foreign cars Ford, BMW, Chrysler, Chevrolet and other rare brands that have now ceased to exist. The oldest of the exhibits "Ford-t" 1915 release. In addition to cars, there are agricultural and truck equipment, buses. • Solohaul Park amusement park

  

  In the mountainous area, 25 kilometers from the nearest shore, there is a park of extreme entertainment and active recreation "Solohaul Park" or "green Glade". There is a zipline, a rope park, a shooting range from onions and airsoft, a trampoline, zorbing (descent in an inflatable sphere on a slope), riding on an armored personnel carrier, a balloon and an airship.   An obligatory tourist activity in Krasnaya Polyana, which every guest of the village and other resorts of Sochi should and seeks to experience – is, of course, cable cars. This is not about skiing or snowboarding, but about climbing on a cable car to one of the viewing platforms on the slopes or peaks surrounding the village of Krasnaya Polyana. By the way, even in early summer you can climb to a height with snow and play snowballs in June. There are simply ascents to the observation decks, and there are complex excursions with Entertainment and visits to individual attractions at the top (as a rule, these are waterfalls and hiking trails) or at the bottom (museums). • Ecotropics and hiking trails in the mountains

  

  In the area of the village and ski resorts there are countless ecological trails, one-day and multi-day tourist routes. Some of them are official routes through the territory of the Sochi National Park, and a fee is charged for passing through them. Long multi-day routes start or end here of the Caucasus Nature Reserve. If you have no experience of hiking in the mountains (we are not talking about climbing, namely trekking or hiking) and you are for the first time in this area, it is best to take advantage of Group or individual guided tours. • Achipse Fortress

  

  The ruins of the fortress of the early Middle Ages (VII-X centuries) were once an excavation site, where many fragments of ceramics, glassware and metal objects were found. Today it is a protected archaeological site of history, but in fact an abandoned place. Only a couple of crumbling walls of several buildings remained from the fortress, so lovers of antiquities and archeology will not see anything special here. But a walk through the forest on the Hill will be quite pleasant entertainment. • My Russia Museum

  This is an open-air Ethnographic Museum, which recreates the architectural traditions and customs of different regions and cities of Russia. It consists of several pavilions made in architectural styles inherent in the Caucasus, Suzdal, Moscow, central Russia, Kazan, the Urals, Siberia and Buryatia. An exhibition and sale of souvenirs and Folk Crafts is organized in each of the pavilions. In addition, master classes and excursions, festive events and festivals are held. • Museum Of Archaeology

  This is a modern interactive museum of archaeological finds and history discovered and obtained during the construction of Olympic facilities in 2010-2014. The exhibition is small and there are not very many real archaeological artifacts, and the basis of the exhibition is Multimedia Information and interactive exhibits. Therefore, in our opinion, this place is not very similar to a classical museum and will not be particularly interesting for children. • Dolmens Of Krasnaya Polyana

  

  On the outskirts of the village there is a whole complex of dolmens, equipped for visiting in the form of a hiking route of the Sochi National Park. There are at least 7 dolmens, several mounds and stone labyrinths and ritual stones. The route is equipped with signs and places for rest, has a length of just over two kilometers. • Health trail and waterfall "High"

  

  This ecological trail or hiking tourist route consists of three rings: small (310 meters / 15 minutes), medium (1630 meters / one and a half hours), large (1920 meters / 2 hours). All three options are laid on the mountainside through the forest near the Mzymta River. Trails are equipped with stairs and railings in difficult places, but in general you will have to walk on the ground and stones, so sports or trekking shoes are mandatory. • Waterfalls "Mendelikha"

  

  This is a complex of 7 waterfalls and 10 observation decks, which are visited in the form of an easy hiking route from the resort "Rosa Khutor". But to get to the beginning of this route, you will first have to get to it on the Rosa Khutor cable car, since, unfortunately, it will not work on foot to climb and descend during the day. • Polikara Waterfall

  

  Polikara waterfall is the highest waterfall in all of Sochi, its height according to various estimates is from 60 to 80 meters, and this is the height of an 18-26 storey building. In addition to the waterfall itself, the path to it is interesting, which is a picturesque route among the mountains and a whole adventure that is overcome on foot or by excursion jeeps. It is much easier to visit it with the help of the cable car of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, for which even a special walking ticket is provided, and most tourists get to it that way. • Cave Falls

  

  Keiva or Keivu is one of the most easily accessible on foot and spectacular waterfalls in the Krasnaya Polyana area, second only to the "high" waterfall on the health trail. It is reached by a relatively simple hiking trail from the village of Krasnaya Polyana, but in good weather you can easily drive any car along a dirt road to the ticket office at the entrance, from where the waterfall is only 20-30 minutes on foot. • Khmelevsky lakes

  

  These are "conditionally mountainous" lakes in the vicinity of Krasnaya Polyana, the most easily accessible for mass tourists and vacationers in Sochi. • Mirror Lake

  

  This is a beautiful mountain lake in the vicinity of Krasnaya Polyana at an altitude of more than 1800 meters. It got its name for a reason: in calm weather, it really reflects the sky and the coast as in a mirror. From the site on which it is located, there are excellent views of the main ridge of the Caucasus Mountains, and in good weather you can see the famous peaks of Fisht, Oshten, Pseashkho, Aibga, Agepsta. • House Museum of A. H. Tammsaare

  A. H. Tammsaare is an Estonian writer of the XIX-XX centuries, whose life and work is associated with the village of esto-Sadok in Krasnaya Polyana. The fact is that the village was founded in 1886 by families from Estonia, originally called Estonian. In 1911, the writer was diagnosed with tuberculosis, and he decided to go for treatment in Sochi, namely in Estosadok, where he spent time from 1912 to 1913. The museum is organized in the original house where the author lived, and tells not only about the life of the writer, but also about the life and culture of this settlement at that time. • Sovarium at Gazprom resort

  

  On the territory of the GTC "Gazprom" in Krasnaya Polyana there is a small thematic zoo - "Sovarium".   RC "Galaxy" is the entertainment center of the resort "Gazprom", and if desired, it can be visited from other resorts of Krasnaya Polyana.   The Mountain Beach Water Park is quite modest in terms of slides: there are only children's slides, three parallel pipes and several spiral slides. But there are several swimming pools, recreation areas, a sandy beach, artificial palm trees, a restaurant, a bar, a salt cave. Actually, it is in this form-as a place of rest, and not as a classic water park, we advise you to consider this place so as not to be disappointed after visiting. • Laura aviary complex

  

  The Laura aviary complex is a zoo in which animals are kept not in cages, but in spacious aviaries, operating at the Caucasian National Reserve. If you or your children love animals, then this is one of the must-see places to visit in Krasnaya Polyana. True, the variety and number of animals is not very large, all these are local inhabitants: bison, Caucasian deer, Caucasian Tur, chamois, roe deer, spotted deer, Wolf, wild boar, Jackal, Lynx, birds. • Local History Museum of Krasnaya Polyana

  This small museum works in the building of School No. 65, created on the initiative of the local historian and local historian B. Tskhomaria, supported by the initiative of the school administration, teachers and even students. The collection presents exhibits mainly devoted to the period of the Second World War. Most of them were not discovered by professional archaeologists, but were found during hikes around the neighborhood by locals and tourists, and then donated to the museum. • Church of St. Harlampius

  

  The Church of the Holy Martyr Charlampius of Magnesia is a modern church, but was erected on the site of an old Greek church. The old church appeared from the foundation of the village at the beginning of the XX century, did not survive the period of the USSR and was destroyed in the 30s of the last century. • Nature Museum

  

  A small nature museum operates in the administrative building of the Sochi National Park in the center of the village. The exposition tells about the history of the formation of the National Park in photos and documents, the nature of the region. The collection consists of photos, stuffed animals, dioramas, minerals, information materials. • Waterfall brothers or Achipsinsky waterfalls

  

  Achipsin waterfalls or brothers are located at an altitude of about 1800 meters above sea level on the Achipse River, which originates on the slopes of Mount Achishcho. This is a remote place where it is difficult for a physically unprepared person to get during a one-day hiking trip, and it is absolutely impossible to do it on cable cars. In addition, they are located on the territory of the Caucasian Reserve, and for legal passage to the route you will first have to pay for a pass.
