RussiaImereti lowland before appearing here Imereti resort was a protected natural area, declared as such in 1911. During the development of the territory and the construction of the resort, the marshland was drained, which greatly changed the ecosystem. In order to at least partially preserve the ecosystem and its inhabitants, natural Ornithological parks were formed. They are located in different places on the territory of the Imereti Resort and in fact are lakes with preserved greenery around the perimeter.
One of these parks stands out. It is located in the eastern part of the resort almost at the border with Abkhazia in the village of Veseloe. The territory is fenced and landscaped with paths and places for recreation. Here you can see typical plant species and exotic varieties for this area, and if you are lucky, then birds. There are also mini-zoos with rabbits and birds.

🚶 How to get there: Ornithological parks are located in several places of Imereti resort in - Sirius (previously part of Adler) and are indicated by numbered clusters. The most interesting of them and worthy of a separate visit is located in the southern part of the Imereti lowland on Tavricheskaya Street (previously it was the village of Veseloe). This territory is surrounded by a fence, there is only one entrance from the intersection of Tavrichesky and Dibrova streets (park entrance on the map. You can get here by buses 125p, 50, 54, 133, 117. for personal transport there is a small free parking at the border of the park on Tavrichesky Street a couple of hundred meters from the entrance, or you can put a car in the parking lot of the shopping center nearby.
