Crab gorge – this is another eco-trail for a simple hike in nature in Sochi National Park. Located on the outskirts of Lazarevsky and it can be easily visited from the center of the resort even on foot. The route runs along an unnamed stream, which is a tributary of the Psezuapse River. And the gorge itself got its name because freshwater crabs are found in the clear waters of the stream.
This gorge does not stand out in comparison with others, for example with the Eco-Trail Mammadovo Gorge or Svir gorge in the neighborhood, and in our opinion (the authors of the site), if you have already visited other eco-trails of the Sochi National Park, nothing will surprise you here. There are not even waterfalls as such, but only modest water slides and a few fonts. The most interesting thing is at the end of the way, when you reach the crab canyon, formed by narrow vertical walls up to 10 meters high.
For a walk, take water with you and wear comfortable shoes, because in some places you will have to jump over stones and climb. Also, do not forget a swimsuit and towel if you decide to swim in the refreshing water of the stream.

round the clock, visit during daytime. The best season to visit is spring and the first half of summer, as the rest of the year the river and waterfalls become shallow or completely dry.

you need to pay for the entrance to Sochi National Park 200 rubles, children under 10 years-free of charge.
🚶 How to get there
Crab Gorge is located on the outskirts of Lazarevskoye a couple of kilometers from the center, the entrance is from Kalarasha Street (crab gorge entrance on the map. A dirt road leads to the entrance and ticket office from Kalarasha Street, which is not so easy to find, there is only a small wooden sign. On our map we indicated the exact position of the ticket offices.
From any place in Lazarevskoye to the entrance to the gorge can be reached on foot, which will have to walk 2-3 kilometers, depending on your location. A taxi ride will cost from 100 rubles, it is better to order a car through the Yandex, Uber, etc. applications. For just 28 rubles you can take the bus number 68 from the main street Lazarev, go to the final "TVs". The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes.
