So, Lazarevskoye is the northernmost district of Greater Sochi, and at the same time the most remote from the airport. At the same time, as an alternative way to fly here by plane, You can use Krasnodar airport. True, to get from it directly to the place of rest in some cases will have to be transplanted, which will take almost the whole day.

From almost all regions of the Russian Federation, you can get to Lazarevskoye by train. Here is a small railway station, where all trains and trains going to Sochi and Abkhazia stop.

By plane to Lazarevskoye

By plane, you can fly to Lazarevskoye through Sochi International Airport (aka Adler airport, IATA code for ticket search – AER) and, in extreme cases, through Krasnodar airport. We recommend using the latter option only if there are no convenient or affordable flights to Sochi from your city/region, since it is long and inconvenient to get from Krasnodar airport to Lazarevskoye.

How to get from Sochi airport to Lazarevskoye

Sochi International Airport named after V. I. Sevastianov is located on the other side of the city in Adler 95 kilometers away (airport on the map). Depending on the chosen transport and traffic jams on the road will take from 2 to 5 hours.

We advise you to use road transport (taxis, buses) with extreme caution for trips to the airport for the departure of the flight in high season or in bad weather, because at this time due to traffic jams, taxi service and travel time can be more than 4 hours.   The city bus stop is located immediately at the exit from the arrivals hall on the lower level. Payment of the fare at the entrance to the driver by card or cash. From the stop to the center of Sochi there are only two flights: No. 105 and No. 105C (express). These are passing buses that depart every 45-60 minutes from 05:00 to 20:00. By train to Lazarevskoye

In the center of Lazarevskoye there is a railway station (station on the map). The station is not very convenient in layout and design, with a chaotic and incomprehensible arrangement of entrances and exits, but it has the most necessary things. This is a small waiting room, toilet (free of charge if tickets are available), ticket offices and automatic ticket terminals.

All long-distance trains from Moscow and the regions in the direction of Sochi and Abkhazia, as well as suburban trains (trains) from Sochi, Adler, the airport, Tuapse, stop here. Check the schedule and buy tickets better on the official website of Russian Railways or at the ticket offices of your city. When buying on the site, it is better to first register in the Russian Railways bonus system in order to save points for the next trips.

The station is located almost in the center of the resort, and on arrival from here to some hotels you can even walk. If you walk far, you can order a taxi through the application (from 69 USD) or use the services of "bombed" duty at the exit (from 200 USD). Remote places of Lazarevsky or other resorts of the Lazarevsky district can be reached by city buses. Immediately at the exit from the station there is a bus stop in the direction of Sochi. If you need to get to the resorts in the direction of Tuapse, you will have to cross the road on a pedestrian bridge, and walk a couple of minutes to the bus stop.

By bus to Lazarevskoye

Buses to Lazarevskoye can be reached from Moscow and neighboring regions (Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kislovodsk, Makhachkala, Astrakhan, Yalta, Kislovodsk), but we do not recommend this method. A long bus ride along the mountain serpentines with a long standstill in traffic jams on the site after Dzhubga is unlikely to add pleasure to your vacation. Nevertheless, this is the only option if you need to get here from the cities and resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, in which there is no railway connection. These are Dzhubga, Gelendzhik, Arkhipo-Osipovka, Anapa, Novorossiysk and other cities north of Tuapse.

There is no bus station here, buses for disembarking passengers make a stop in the direction of Sochi along Lazarev Street at city bus stops, the main stop is near the railway station. 96A Lazarev Street has a car ticket office building (ticket offices on the map), where you can get information about the Schedule of departing buses and buy tickets in advance. By car to Lazarevskoye

From Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities of the European part of the Russian Federation, the fastest and safest way is to get along the Federal Highway M4-don. You can drive on free roads, but then spend an additional few hours, because you will have to go through settlements with traffic jams. From Samara, Kazan, Ufa and other cities to the east, you can drive on completely free roads through Volgograd.

The most difficult part of the way with a length of 100 kilometers will have to pass after Dzhubga. At the height of the tourist season, it can take up to 6 hours to travel due to constant traffic jams and serpentine roads, so if possible, plan to travel at night or early in the morning. Alternatively, you can go around the Dzhubga-Tuapse section through the Shahumyan pass, but this road is 75 kilometers longer and you will have to drive 7 kilometers through the pass on a terribly dusty and uncomfortable gravel road. If you decide to go through the pass, then the decision to detour should be made in Krasnodar or, in extreme cases, in Goryachy Klyuch, since you can't take the detour later.

For long-term parking, you can use the areas adjacent to houses and hotels. There are paid parking 50 rubles / hour and 250 rubles/day.

Refueling in the resorts of Sochi is best at branded network gas stations Lukoil, Rosneft, Gazpromneft, they are widely represented here. In Lazarevskoye gas station Rosneft is in the heart of the resort on the main street. There are no foreign branded gas stations here. The price of gasoline, as usual in the South, is higher by 5-10% than in other regions of the European part of the Russian Federation.

How to get to Lazarevskoye from other resorts in Sochi

From other resorts and villages of Greater Sochi to Lazarevskoye can be reached by city buses and taxis or trains.

Unfortunately, buses and minibuses connect the resort only with the center of Sochi, as well as with the resorts and villages of the district. And this means that from Adler, the airport, Khosta, Krasnaya Polyana, Sirius you will have to get by bus with a transfer at a bus stop or bus station in the city center. However, there are no big difficulties with this, since the bus change takes place at one stop next to the railway station, you will not need to go anywhere. Nevertheless, buses and minibuses are the last type of transport that we would recommend to use for long-distance travel around Greater Sochi. After all, it is worth recalling that the length of the city along the coast is more than 100 kilometers, which, coupled with traffic jams and serpentine, will make a long trip a real test and loss of time. In addition, do not forget that the serpentines can be seasick.

It is much more convenient to use trains. Along the entire Sochi coast, a railway runs through all the resorts, along which long-distance trains and electric trains run. It is more profitable to use trains: they are significantly cheaper and make more stops.

Transport in Lazarevskoye, what to use

Lazarevskoye resort is not very large, its coastal central zone stretches along the coast for a little more than three kilometers, so it is best to move during the rest on foot. Per-minute, hourly and daily rent of individual transport are also available:

City buses are intra-district, as well as to the center of Sochi, but we advise them to use mainly for short trips. It is better to get to the center of Sochi, Adler, Tuapse by train from the local railway station in the center.
