Attractions and entertainments of Lazarevsky

Article and Section Navigation

Attractions directly in the village and resort Lazarevskoye, consider that there is no. Here you can independently visit a modest Ethnographic Museum, see the ruins of the fortress wall of Fort Lazarev, several local temples, and walk along one of two tourist routes or eco-trails, and that's all.

But with Entertainment here everything is much better. In general, in terms of the number of various tourist Entertainments Lazarevskoye is the leader among all resorts of Greater Sochi, and possibly the entire Black Sea coast. There are three dolphinariums, two water parks, several oceanariums, a penguin garden, the highest ferris wheel in Russia and many more attractions and entertainments.

Here's what you should visit during your vacation in Lazarevskoye, directly in the resort and its immediate surroundings of the village (bold highlighted those that we recommend in the first place):

Important! When paying for admission, many attractions and entertainments in Lazarevsky do not accept bank cards, so be sure to have a supply of cash. Payment for excursions is also most often accepted only in cash.

And, of course, the options for spending time at the resort are not limited to these interesting places. In the vicinity of Lazarevsky on the territory of the Lazarevsky district there are still many attractions, mainly of a natural nature. You can visit most of them yourself by public or private transport (how to do it, below), or with excursions, which are very widely offered in the resort. You can buy them quite calmly from distributors on the embankment and on the streets, or you can pick up original and interesting group and individual excursions online on these proven sites:

Laihfak, how to save on entertainment in Lazarevskoye

Pay attention to the "Mutual shares" between different types of attractions. For example, after visiting the ferris wheel, you can get a discount in the Dolphinarium "Coliseum"; after the Dolphinarium, a discount in the Penguins; after the Penguins in the aquarium. Information about these promotions is posted at the ticket offices and billboards.

Another way to save money is to buy tickets not at the box office, but from distributors on the streets. For example, in 2020, a ticket to the Lazarevsky Dolphinarium at the box office cost from 700 rubles for the first places, and from distributors for 500. They also sell excursions with a transfer to water parks cheaper than at the box office.

You can also go on your own during the day and see the sights and entertainments of the neighboring resorts. It is best to get to them by train, so you bypass the traffic jams that often form during the high tourist season. See more:

And now a detailed description of all the attractions and entertainments in Lazarevskoye and its surroundings, indicating the opening hours, the cost of visiting and how to get to them. And by the way, you can print our travel guide (the page is optimized for printing) and use it during your vacation at any time.

Lazarevskaya embankment

Embankment in Lazarevskoye
Embankment in Lazarevskoye

Along part of the beach along Yantarnaya Street stretches a promenade with a length of about a kilometer. This is the main hangout and walking place in the resort, where Entertainments, cafes and restaurants, fast food, sale of excursions and other tourist services are concentrated. But, in our opinion, it is not very suitable for a leisurely promenade. The fact is that in the high season it becomes cramped and too fussy. Fast food vendors and sellers of excursions put their stalls on it, restaurants block the passage with tables, and "molesters" with photographing with animals and distributors of advertising products simply do not give passage.

💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: free.

🚶 How to get there: Lazarevskaya embankment is located only on the part of the resort in the south side of Lazarevsky park of Culture on the street. Yantarnaya (embankment on the map).

Beach entertainments in Lazarevskoye
Beach entertainments in Lazarevskoye

On the beaches of Lazarevskoye, traditional beach Entertainments are presented in specially designated safe zones: banana, pill, parachute rides; catamaran and jet ski rentals; SUP surf and other sports equipment rentals. It is not difficult to find these places, because almost every beach of the resort has barkers who invite you to have fun. Prices are affordable, and in our opinion even lower than prices in the center of Sochi and in other small resorts of Greater Sochi. For example, riding on the "banana" will cost 300 rubles/person, and you can find a SUP-surf for rent from 300 rubles/hour. Of course, to get a good price, you need to look and you can even bargain.

There are open and closed cabins, you can choose which one you like best. From above there is a view of the coast and the surrounding mountains, so it does not hurt to bring binoculars or a good camera with zoom (approximation) in order to examine the surroundings in detail in 8 minutes of wheel rotation. And they say that in good weather you can even see the Turkish coast, but this statement is very doubtful, because to Turkey in a straight line more than 300 kilometers.

An open-air water park with adult and children's slides, saltwater pools, a recreation area and a full complex of infrastructure for recreation. Nautilus Water Park

Water Park Nautilus, Sochi
Water park, Free pic Needpix

"Nautilus" is almost twice as large in area as the "starfish", but it can not be unequivocally said that it is "cooler". In fact, the slides here are even less than in the "Morskaya Zvezda", although they are a little more extreme. It is worth noting that despite its two hectares of occupied area, it still looks somewhat modest compared to large water parks, such as Amphibius in Adler. There are only 7 slides, but they are extreme and high. The coolest – tsunami and Kamikaze. A considerable selection of entertainments for children of primary school age, and a children's town with a shallow pool for the youngest. Learn more about the Nautilus water park here.

  • 33 waterfalls

    33 waterfalls
    One of the 33 waterfalls

There are many waterfalls in the mountainous regions of Sochi, but if you really choose to visit something during your vacation, then we would definitely recommend visiting the "33 waterfalls" in the Valley of the Shakhe River in the Lazarevsky district. In fact, most vacationers will not be able to see all 33 waterfalls, but only 13 of the most easily accessible and equipped with a convenient path and stairs. The reason is that organized group excursions, with the help of which this place is most often visited, are limited in time: usually no more than an hour is given for a walk and rest at the waterfalls, which is clearly not enough to get to the rest of the slightly more inaccessible ones. But if you really want to, you can see the other 20, although for this you will have to come here on your own and you will need to walk along the river along unequipped trails, which not everyone can overcome. In terms of time, the full route will take 2-4 hours with rest and swimming in natural pools (fonts), and if you are ready to limit yourself to easily accessible waterfalls, you can easily see them in half an hour. • Stone blockage and waterfall "Shameless"

Stone blockage and waterfall Shameless, Sochi
    Stone blockage and waterfall "Shameless"

This is another of the countless tourist routes of the Sochi National Park. It is little known, rarely visited by tourists, and, frankly, we also do not particularly recommend visiting it, but it is impossible not to mention it. The route is poorly equipped, the walk to the waterfall will be almost extreme with jumping over rocks and walking on water, if it (water) of course will be. The fact is that by the middle of summer the stream almost dries up, filling with water only after prolonged torrential rains. Accordingly, instead of a waterfall, you have a chance to see only a thin trickle of water, or even just wet stones. The only plus of this place is that there are very rarely tourists.
