There are not very many attractions in Loo and its surroundings, and objectively speaking, there are enough fingers on one hand to list all the places of interest at least a little. But this is not a very big problem, because with excursions or on your own, you can easily visit many interesting places on the territory of the Lazarevsky district and in general the whole of Greater Sochi. You can even go to Tuapse by train during the day and see the sights of the entire Tuapse district. Uortunately for tourists, a considerable selection of ready-made excursions is offered, including even to the most remote corners of Greater Sochi and Krasnodar Krai, to the neighboring country of Abkhazia. Among the most popular: 33 waterfalls, Abkhazia, mountain Adygea, Krasnaya Polyana and the cable car, sightseeing Sochi. When choosing ready-made excursions, we advise you to pay attention to their duration: the fact is that day trips to remote places, for example to Abkhazia, Adygea, Krasnaya Polyana, by and large take a long road. That is, you will not see much, since you will spend most of the time on the bus on the way to the sights.

The entertainment in Loo is a little better than the sights. On your own, you can visit the local water park and dolphinarium, and with excursions, make an extreme jeep trip to the mountains, rafting, sea fishing and even diving at the local Aquantis dive center. Independently during the day, you can go to the amusement parks in Lazarevskoye or central Sochi. By the way, tour distributors, among other things, sell tickets to shows of Russian and foreign stars, which are constantly held in concert halls of Sochi in high season.

Night entertainment in Loo is very poorly developed. In the evening, cafes and bars work on the embankment, from which "old" and Caucasian music can be heard, and if you need something more modern, you can visit the Nefertiti club or the Lost Paradise karaoke bar.

Loo Embankment

In the central part of the resort there is a moderately beautiful and equipped pedestrian embankment with a length of 500 meters. This is the main walking place in Loo, because the layout of the resort is extremely inconvenient, and there are simply no other places for walking. Simple children's and adult attractions are located here, tour implementers work, Afro-pigtails are woven, fast food, draft drinks and souvenirs are sold. Along the embankment there is a beach "Transparent", which is periodically washed away by storms, so it will not always be possible to swim here.

On the beach in Loo, in specially designated areas, vacationers are offered a full set of traditional water activities. Prices depend on the season and even your ability to bargain, here are the prices in the middle of the season for reference: banana riding - 300 rubles /person; tablet - 400 rubles /person; jet ski rental - 1500 rubles / 10 minutes; parachute - 3000 rubles / person; boat trip - 600 rubles/ person; sea fishing - 1000 rubles/person. In our experience, the prices here are higher than in the larger resorts of Sochi, but you can bargain. It's easier to "knock down" the price if you want to ride in a big company, in the evening and not in very good weather.

If you prefer land entertainment, then on the embankment in the center of Loo there are simple children's attractions like shooting galleries, air hockey, prize games for adults, children's fishing, etc. Prices from 100 rubles.

AquaLoo Water Park

AquaLoo Water Park is unique among all water parks in Greater Sochi. The fact is that this is the only year-round water park, consisting of a part indoors (winter part), as well as a playground with slides and outdoor pools (summer part). It is part of a hotel complex where you can stay for the entire period of your vacation.

The winter part consists of two warm pools for adults, one children's pool, four water slides, two steam rooms, a bar and a cafe. And judging by the reviews of tourists, there is nothing much to do here in winter: there is little entertainment and it is boring. But in summer, the water park opens in all its glory. In the open-air area there are several extreme slides, a children's area, a huge swimming pool with artificial waves and sea water, sun loungers and umbrellas, a cafe.

There is a unique tariff "Aquanoch", which includes tickets to the water park and accommodation in the room, which allows you to come here from distant resorts and cities, have fun on the slides and relax in the room.

Dolphinarium No. 1 "Loo"

This is a typical dolphinarium, of which there are many on the Black Sea coast. Black Sea dolphins, fur seals, and white whales participate in an incendiary performance with music, jokes and audience involvement. If you and your kids have never been to dolphinariums, then be sure to visit it during your vacation. If you have already been to dolphinariums at major resorts, for example, in one of the dolphinariums in Lazarevskoye, you will not see anything special here. At the end of the show, photographing with dolphins is offered for 500 rubles, swimming with dolphins for 2000 rubles.

Recreation area and waterfall Naslajdenie (mean Naslajdenie)

Naslajdenie is a recreation complex in the vicinity of Loo, consisting of a cafe of the same name, an equestrian base, a playground, an ethnographic museum, a mill and a hiking tourist route through the forest along the gorge of the Loo River to the Naslajdenie Waterfall. You can come here for a whole day to eat in a cafe while the children ride horses or play on the playground, or you can just walk along a simple walking route to the waterfall and visit the free ethnographic museum. Recreation area "Mountain Eden"

Mountain Eden is a tourist complex for recreation with a small beautiful garden of tropical and subtropical plants, a tea plantation, a source of mineral water, a restaurant with a large hall for celebrations, a fountain, a swimming pool, an artificial waterfall and a barbecue area. You can come here during the day as an excursion to walk around the garden and get water from a mineral spring, eat in a restaurant. And if you wish, you can stay for a night or more, for which there are rooms. Unfortunately, the entrance to this complex is paid, 250 rubles. The price includes a small lunch of pancakes with tea and honey or other dishes and drinks.

Witches Gorge

Witches Gorge or the tourist route and the waterfall Witch Gorge is one of the many tourist routes of the Sochi National Park, and the only route of its kind in the area of the resort of Loo. Hiking to the waterfall is not difficult, it is easily overcome in both directions in a couple of hours of a leisurely walk, but you will have to go up. If you don't want to walk, you can buy a jeep tour.

The culmination of the route is the waterfall Witch Gorge, also known as Metsekt, Rainbow or Waterfall of Love. It is associated with a romantic fascinating legend about a couple in love, which you can read on the information stand. According to another legend, the waterfall has a rejuvenating effect. At the foot of the waterfall there is a spacious natural swimming pool, and nearby there is another waterfall associated with the legend "Maiden's Tears".

Ruins of a Byzantine temple or a Loos Temple

This is the only historical landmark in Loo, a monument of federal significance. But objectively, the ruins of the temple are not particularly interesting, and you will spend no more than 5 minutes here. In addition, the entrance to them is paid, 200 rubles. The Church of the Apostle Simon the Canaanite

This is a modern temple, built in 2009 on the site of an old temple, but for a short period of its existence it has become one of the visiting cards of the Loo resort, so not rich in attractions. The new church is still being completed, and there is a Sunday school in the old wooden building. Tourists can freely explore the temple from the outside and inside, believers can join in prayers or light a candle. When visiting the temple as tourists, do not forget to dress appropriately: bright provocative clothes, mini-skirts, shorts are unacceptable; men should take off their headgear, and women should cover their heads. Capes and shawls are given out free of charge at the entrance.

Dagomyssky troughs

This is another object of the Sochi National Park, which can be visited from Loo or Dagomys. This originally natural attraction in the form of natural spacious fonts in the canyon of the mountain river Dagomys has now turned into a recreation area of two cafes, baths, gazebos for picnics. The places here are beautiful, but if you have already been to other canyons and gorges of the Sochi National Park, then this place is hardly impressive. In addition, at the height of the season, and especially on weekends, a lot of people gather here, many of whom have fun from the heart and to the fullest with loud music, alcoholic beverages and accompanying behavior. Therefore, we do not recommend considering this place exclusively as a natural attraction, but rather as a place to relax and swim in the refreshing water of a mountain stream.

"Tea houses" and tea plantations in Uch-Dere

If there is absolutely nothing to do in Loo, you can go during the day to the microdistrict-village Uch-Dere, where, as stated, the northernmost tea plantations in the world are located. If you have never been to tea plantations and do not know how the most popular drink in the world is grown and processed, then you can learn about it in the "Tea Houses" with an excursion. It includes a walk around the plantation, a guide's story and a tea party. And, of course, you can buy fresh tea here. An ethnographic exhibition is located in the houses themselves. But, unfortunately, the price for visiting this attraction is clearly overstated, but if you don't mind the time and have an extra 450 rubles, then you can visit.

Museum of Krasnodar tea and retro cars

This museum presents two private collections at once: vintage cars and Krasnodar tea. It was founded in 2010 by a local collector Sergey Abramchuk. In the museum, he collected and restored old Soviet, American and other foreign Ford, BMW, Chrysler, Chevrolet and other rare brands that have now ceased to exist. The oldest of the exhibits is a 1915 Ford-T. In addition to passenger cars, there are agricultural and cargo vehicles, buses. Almost all cars are in excellent condition after restoration, and in some you can even sit and take a photo.

In addition to the collection of cars, there is a collection of samovars and Krasnodar tea, household items of the inhabitants of the region, equipment of the old tea factory. By the way. And the museum itself is located on the territory of an old closed tea factory.

33 waterfalls

There are many waterfalls in the mountainous regions of Sochi, but if you really choose one thing to visit during your vacation, then we would definitely recommend visiting the "33 waterfalls" in the valley of the Shakhe River in the Lazarevsky district. In fact, most vacationers will not be able to see all 33 waterfalls, but only 13 of the most easily accessible and equipped with a convenient path and stairs. The reason is that organized group excursions, with the help of which this place is most often visited, are limited in time: usually no more than an hour is given for a walk and rest at the waterfalls, which is clearly not enough to get to the rest of the slightly more inaccessible ones. But if you really want to, you can see the other 20, although you will have to come here on your own and you will need to walk along the river along unequipped trails that not everyone can overcome. In terms of time, the full route will take 2-4 hours with rest and swimming in natural pools (fonts), and if you are ready to limit yourself to easily accessible waterfalls, you can easily see them in half an hour. Solokhaul Park Amusement Park

In a mountainous area, 25 kilometers from the nearest shore, there is a park of extreme entertainment and active recreation "Solokhaul Park" or "Zelenaya Polyana". There is a zipline, rope park, archery range and airsoft, trampoline, zorbing (descent in an inflatable sphere down the slope), riding an APC, balloon and airship. And all this is surrounded by tea plantations and with magnificent views of the mountains. It's worth coming here for the whole day.
