Chvizhepse - this narzan mineral spring is the only one in Sochi, the water of which is officially recognized as therapeutic, and as stated by the guides, has a "rejuvenating effect". You can drink water from a cup and even pick it up with you. But there is no great sense in taking water with you, because it loses its medicinal properties during the day: it becomes cloudy and a precipitate appears. Near the spring there are stalls with souvenirs, selling honey and a tiny artificial waterfall. The area around is well-groomed, suitable for photo shoots.
The source is located in a traditional drinking pump room, before entering which there is information about the composition of water, indications for use and contraindications. But given that the treatment with mineral water involves its long-term and systematic use under the supervision of specialists, of course, there can be no question of any therapeutic or rejuvenating effect from one visit. Therefore, in our opinion (the authors of the site) this is a typical a tourist trap in Sochi not worth visiting. The entrance to the source is paid, and you will spend no more than 5 minutes there just to drink a glass of water, which will be given to you when you pay for the entrance. Tourists are brought here by large buses in order to fill the excursion program with another point of stay on the way to Krasnaya Polyana. But the saddest thing is that the fee is charged not by" oborzevshimi "private individuals, but by a state institution" Sochi National Park". Moreover, officially the fee is charged not for the intake of mineral water, but for the passage to the territory (just a few meters) and excursion service (which in practice, of course, is not). By the way, in most resorts of Mineralnye Vody and other medical resorts of the Russian Federation, visiting Pump Rooms is free.
If you are traveling independently, and not on a tour bus in a group, you can drink mineral water for FREE. To do this, you need to drive further after the tourist source of 1.3 kilometers to the bridge over the river on the right. Here you need to leave the car, go over the bridge and immediately turn right onto the path. In a couple of minutes on foot it will take you to the free source (free map source). The water in it flows directly from the pipe, and it is easy to recognize the place by the red color of the soil around the stream.
Here is the hotel Bear corner and an equipped playground for outdoor recreation, or as it is sometimes called - Picnic complex "bear corner". It is equipped with gazebos and garbage cans. Here you can come to rest for a picnic or for an overnight stay with a tent. For the entrance / entrance also take a fee of 200 rubles / person (up to 10 years free of charge), 200 rubles for a gazebo. For tourists who are brought here with excursions, it is not of interest, but if you travel with a tent, then this is a good place to spend the night and replace camping.

Chvizhepse mineral spring and bear corner are located in the village of Chvizhepse on the road to Krasnaya Polyana, 58 kilometers from the center of Sochi and 36 kilometers from Adler (source on map.
