The Olympic Park in Adler is the main and largest attraction of Adler. If someone else does not know, the Olympic Park was originally created for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. Also, around the Olympic facilities, the Sochi Autodrom race track was equipped for the Royal F1 car races and others, and by 2018, the Fisht Stadium was converted for FIFA 2018 matches.
Today, the Olympic Park is a complex of stadiums and sports palaces, the Sochi Autodrom race track, the square with the Olympic flame and singing fountains. You can visit it yourself and for free (for how to visit, see below).
In the Olympic Park you can see
- Fisht Stadium. The most colorful football stadium, very beautifully illuminated in the evening.
- Ice Cube Stadium. It is a stadium originally for curling, later used to host television shows, including The Comedy Club. In 2020, it was rebuilt as a martial arts arena.
- Sports Palace "Big". The home arena of the Hockey Club "Sochi".
- Ice Arena "puck". Ice hockey palace.
- Adler Arena. Originally built for speed skating sports, it is now used for training and tennis competitions.
- Palace of winter sports "iceberg". Built for figure skating competitions. It is still used in this capacity, although sometimes non-ice competitions are held, for example boxing.
- Medal Plaza and Olympic flame Bowl. Here was the grand opening and closing of the Olympic Games, awarding the winners. Now, next to the torch of the Olympic flame, a daily Singing Fountain Show. There is also a "wall of glory" with the plates of the winners, but it is in a deplorable state: many names have been erased.
- Race track "Sochi Autodrom". This is a classic racing circuit that runs between stadiums and facilities. Unfortunately, it is impossible to walk along the track on foot (there are excursions along the track from the auto museum), it is almost always closed and used for training. But from the pedestrian bridges above the race you can watch the racing cars.
- Rainbow Bridge. Five-color bridge, or rather Five Bridges of different colors. A great place to take pictures, and nothing more.
- Old Believers cemetery. The current cemetery of Old Believers, preserved during the construction of Olympic facilities.
- Sirius Planetarium. In 2020, he did not work, there is no information about the resumption of work.
- Museums and exhibitions. The Olympic Park includes several museums and exhibitions, in particular: the Tesla and Leonardo Museum, the Automobile Museum. In fact, they are located outside the park on its border.
- Closed objects. In some guidebooks you can find outdated information about the Museum of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, a 3D zoo, an ice park, an exhibition of mechanical dinosaurs. These facilities have long been closed and dismantled.
How to visit the Olympic Park for free and on your own
The territory of the Olympic Park in Adler is open for free to anyone. You can freely walk on the territory and walk there as much as you want, inspecting the former Olympic facilities, but only from the outside. Entrance to stadiums and palaces is allowed only during sporting events or for training by athletes.
The perimeter of the park is surrounded by a fence, there are several open entrances. The most convenient entrances for tourists: from the embankment and the beach, from the entertainment Sochi Park and from the railway station Imereti resort. In general, there are many entrances, you can find them on the map or just walking around the park. For navigation you can use Yandex maps, Google's map or Organic Maps etc., they are well marked all the entrances, walkways, pedestrian bridges and the Olympic venues.
On the territory of the park you can move on foot, on bicycles or electric individual vehicles (electric scooters, gyroscuters). It is convenient to rent bicycles and gyroscuters per minute (see about transport in Sochi and how to get around), it is available throughout the park. However, please note that there is a race track between the Olympic venues, and pedestrian bridges are equipped to cross it. Accordingly, you will have to carry transport on bridges on your hands, or leave it in front of the bridge (with a per-minute lease).
Also at the entrance to the park, excursions on electric ATVs are offered. During the tour, you will be taken through the territory and told about some of the objects. The cost of such excursions - from 300 rubles/person.

🚶 How to get there
located in - Sirius (previously part of Adler) (Park on the map. From almost any place in Adler you can get here on foot or on rented bicycles, electric scooters, and from more remote cities and resorts of the Krasnodar Territory you can get there with excursions, by bus or train. Recall that you can not move around the park by car, only bicycles and individual electric vehicles (gyroscuters, scooters) are allowed.
- By private transport. We do not recommend using a car for a day trip here from distant resorts, especially those that are further from the center of Sochi. The fact is that there is a chance to lose a lot of time in traffic jams, besides there are problems with parking. It is much more convenient and practical to get on trains that bypass all traffic jams. If you still decide to go by car, it is highly recommended not to go on weekdays on the bridge on Kaspiyskaya Street, and it is better to avoid traffic jams on the bridge on Kaspiyskaya Street.Bulk. You can park your car in the free parking lot of Sochi Park or in the paid parking lot opposite the Fisht Stadium (500 rubles in winter, 1000 rubles in summer).
- By public transport from other resorts it is best to go here by train to the station Imereti resort MLM Olympic Village, as they bypass all traffic jams. Trains run to the stations even from Krasnodar and, of course, they make stops at all more or less large resorts of the coast after Tuapse. Just be careful with the recovery back in the summer, because you can not catch The Last Train, see schedule for Imereti resort Station. From the station to the fountains will have to walk 2.5 kilometers, which will take at least half an hour.
