However, Krasnodar is important for tourists as a transport hub. There is a major international airport and a railway junction station, as well as all major automobile routes to the Black Sea resorts from other cities and regions of the Russian Federation pass through the city. For example, to get to resorts Dzhubga, Lermontovo, Novomikhailovsky, Arkhipo-Osipovka, Blue Bay and others, you'll almost certainly have to change planes or trains here. Even Gelendzhik is sometimes cheaper and more convenient to get by plane through Krasnodar airport than to fly directly to Gelendzhik airport.

For tourist movement around the city, it is best to use a taxi or public transport (buses, trams, trolleybuses), and a personal car is best parked next to the hotel. There is no metro in Krasnodar yet, but for many years there have been plans to create above-ground and underground branches.

In Krasnodar there are no significant historical, architectural and cultural attractions for which it is worth visiting the city.
