Novomikhailovsky (also Novomikhailovka) - a resort village on the Black Sea coast in the Tuapse District of the Krasnodar Territory. It is almost in the middle between Jubgoi and Tuapse 140 kilometers from Krasnodar and 1470 kilometers from Moscow (Novomikhailovsky on the map. Also, Beaches in the village of Plyakho and Shirokaya schelya are often referred to as Novomikhailovsky, but due to their remoteness they should rather be considered separate places for recreation.

Novomikhailovsky is one of the most developed and cozy resorts in the Tuapse district. Through it, as well as through other resorts on this coast, there is a busy route to Sochi, but it goes around the resort area and does not interfere with vacationers. The village has a large selection of Housing and hotels; a lot of entertainment, including for young people; there is an excellent long promenade. And in general, the resort, unlike the neighboring Dzhubga or Lermontovo, looks clean and well-groomed.

But there is one significant disadvantage that not all tourists will like: there is not a very long beach, and there is not enough space for a comfortable stay in the peak season for everyone. Even for beach entertainment, sometimes there is a queue.

The main beach here is one and a half kilometers long. Although it is customary to divide it into Central (Central on the map) and the beach of the Primorskaya campsite (Beach Campsite "Primorskaya" on the map), in fact they are located continuously on the same shore. On the Right Bank of the Nechepsukho river there is another small Beach "tornado" in an artificial Bay with sand and pebbles (Tornado on the map).

On the central beach there are small pebbles, on the outskirts there are larger stones. But if you go into the water, the sandy bottom begins, which is very convenient. However, for this it is better to wear special beach shoes aquashusa, which is sold at very good prices here in the markets. By the way, the depth is not small, it starts from the first meters, so children need to be carefully monitored. In general, for this reason, for very young children this is not the best place to rest.

The beaches have all the traditional water activities and leisure facilities. Renting a chaise longue costs 200 rubles/day or 50 rubles/hour, riding a banana-300 rubles, on a tablet-400 rubles. There are free changing booths, paid shower and toilet for 20 rubles. Along the beach there is an excellent promenade with cafes, fast food and entertainment.

Infrastructure in Novomikhailovsky

The village is well developed, there is everything for a comfortable stay. The main tourist area with tourist infrastructure is located on and near the waterfront. Excursions are sold here, cafes and canteens, a tourist market, pharmacies, clothing, food and manufactured goods stores. The center of the village is two kilometers from the beach on foot, and almost four kilometers by road. In the center there are shops and other urban infrastructure, there is nothing specifically for tourists.

    There is no bus station in Novomikhailovsky, instead there is a stop on the main highway with ticket offices (stop on the map). All buses make a stop only here, the village itself and its tourist area do not call, so from here to the hotel you will have to walk a couple of kilometers or take a taxi from 150 rubles.

• By train

  There is no railway station here, you will have to take the train to the railway station in Krasnodar, Goryachy Klyuch or Tuapse, and change to a bus or taxi there. The same trains go to these stations in the direction to Adler (Sochi), so for the most part it does not matter which station to go to, but it is more convenient and cheaper to get to Goryachy Klyuch or Krasnodar. It makes sense to go to Tuapse if you get from Sochi.

  Tickets to these destinations are quickly sold out, so it is recommended to buy them in advance, at least a month before the intended trip, and even better for two.   • Via Goryachy Klyuch railway station

    Goryachy Klyuch railway station is closer, and the same trains stop here as in Krasnodar (Goryachy Klyuch station on the map). Getting from here is even cheaper, but with a transfer to the bus there are small difficulties.

    A taxi from Goryachy Klyuch to Lermontovo will cost only 1400 rubles. If you decide to get there by bus, then you will first have to take city buses with a transfer or a taxi to the local bus station, and already there take any passing bus to Tuapse or Sochi. Buses during the day run often, the cost of 200 rubles.

• By bus

  There is no bus station in the village, passing buses stop in the center on the main road, there are also ticket offices (stop on the map. From this stop to the tourist area and the beach about 2 kilometers, which can be overcome on foot with light luggage or take a taxi from 150 rubles. No buses go directly to Novomikhailovsky, but there are many passing in Tuapse and Sochi. These are mainly intra-regional flights, but there are also long-distance ones. • By car

  The resort is very convenient to visit by car. For this reason, most vacationers here are road travelers from the Krasnodar Territory and neighboring regions. From Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Rostov-On-Don, you can go on the M4-don toll road or free detour roads. The fare for all paid sections of the M-4 will be from 1720 rubles, and a little less if you pay with a contactless transponder. Driving on free roads by mileage takes quite a bit more, but due to downtime in traffic jams in populated areas and speed limits, you will have to spend much more time.

  Please note that in the tourist area there are great difficulties with long-term and short-term parking. It is better to check in advance when searching for housing about the availability of parking near the object, which can be done by reading its description and reviews on booking sites. Also for this reason, you should not travel around the village by private car, but it is better to put it in the parking lot for the entire period of rest.

Attractions and entertainment, what to see

There are no attractions directly in Novomikhailovsky itself, unless, with a big stretch, they include the Armenian Church on the hill and the abandoned ruins of the fortress of Nikopsia. There are also no large-scale tourist attractions such as water parks and dolphinariums, although there are plenty of various children's attractions and beach entertainment. If you want to visit water parks and dolphinariums, you will have to go to the neighboring villages of Tuapse district: in Dzhubga to the water park and Dolphinarium; in lermontovo in a simple inexpensive water park; in Nebug large water park and Dolphinarium. You can do this yourself by commuter bus or by private transport, but it is much easier and more convenient to buy a ready-made tour, which will include delivery to the place and entrance tickets.

But fortunately, the aforementioned attractions and entertainment in Novomikhailovsky do not end. Distributors on the streets offer a huge number of options for inexpensive group excursions around the neighborhood, to the far corners of the Krasnodar Territory and even to neighboring regions.

The main excursion hit, without visiting which rarely anyone leaves here – a day trip to the mountains "Malibu" or "Caucasus" or "Eagle Rock". These are approximately similar programs with a trip to the nearest mountains to the campsite and visiting waterfalls, swimming in a mountain river, a mini-zoo, riding horses or ATVs, a feast, etc.such an excursion costs 2000 rubles, and 1000 rubles for children.
