General information
Dzhubga (Dzhubga, also Dzhubga) - a resort village on the Black Sea coast in the Krasnodar Territory, 120 kilometers from Krasnodar (Dzhubga on the map. The village is known for being the first beach resort on the road from Krasnodar to Sochi resorts although it does not belong to greater Sochi, it is part of the Tuapse district. This is generally a good place to stay, but there are some features that you should definitely know before you go here.
Dzhubga is an ambiguous resort. Some tourists after the first visit hate it and no longer return, and some come here every year and relax with pleasure. Both are right in their own way, it just all depends on the point of view and expectations from the rest. In order not to make a mistake with the choice, read our guide.
Holidays in Dzhubga
Dzhubga is a traditional beach resort with Sandy and pebble beaches, well-developed infrastructure, a very modest number of attractions. It is very convenient for road travelers who want to relax on the sea, but do not want to stand long and tedious in many hours of traffic jams, which usually gather further along the road towards Tuapse and Sochi in high season. Dzhubga is also popular with residents of Krasnodar and other cities in the region as a place to relax by the sea on weekly weekends.
Rest here will suit any category of tourists of any age, but it is impossible not to mention the disadvantages of the village:
✔ Advantages of the resort
- The nearest resort to Krasnodar, you do not have to stand in many hours of traffic jams on the way to rest.
- There are beaches for every taste: Pebble and Sandy.
- Well-developed tourist infrastructure.
- Lots of tourist and family activities.
❌ Cons of the resort
- It is relatively difficult to get there without personal transport, there is no railway.
- Through the center passes the main highway on Tuapse and Sochi, where there is a lot of transport, and as a result - gas pollution.
- There are illegal toll and restricted beaches.
- Chaotic buildings, passages to the beaches and a few attractions are blocked with fences, closed to passage and travel.
- In general, the village has a sense of abandonment.
On the one hand, Dzhubga seems to have everything for a beach holiday: Clean Sea, a large number of accommodation options, excursions are sold, there is entertainment. Here it is quite good to relax with pleasure, if in addition to the sea, the beach and a set of standard tourist attractions you really do not need anything.
But once you go beyond the hotel-beach route, you will find yourself on unkempt streets; broken sidewalks. Fences and construction sites block the passages to the beaches and simply interfere with walking, making the resort just a maze. The embankment with rusty handrails, apparently, which has not known repair since Soviet times, completes the picture of the feeling that there is no smell of a cozy beach resort here. The central beach, crowded with vacationers, does not add comfort.
Speaking of beaches. There are several of them. Some have a well-developed infrastructure: there are sun beds and umbrellas for rent, cafes and the sale of soft drinks, entertainment. On the outskirts there are wild unfurnished, including those wishing to retire and sunbathe naked.
- Central Beach - the most developed and the only Sandy.
- "Savage" "it's on the outskirts, pebbly, and a little less developed than Central.
- Beach sanatorium "Dzhubga" - pebbly, there are cafes and modest entertainment. The entrance is limited to the sanatorium, a fee of 100 rubles is charged, but it is easy to get around for free.
- Beach camping "sea wave" - pebbly, with great depth, without entertainment. Entrance is paid-300 rubles.

Weather in Dzhubga, tourist seasons
-
🌞 need to go from June to August. The high tourist season takes place in the summer months, especially popular – July and August.
-
⛅ you can go in May, September and October. These months are also suitable for rest. However, in May, the weather can present unpleasant surprises in the form of rains and cold weather. September and October are the velvet season, when the main flow of tourists decreases, accommodation prices fall significantly. However, in mid-September, some attractions and tourist establishments stop working. For example, a water park stops working.
-
🌨 do not go from November to April. These months are too cold and uncomfortable for beach holidays and swimming.

The same trains pass through all these stations to Adler in Sochi, so for the most part it does not matter which station to go to, but it is more convenient and cheaper to get to Goryachy Klyuch or Krasnodar. It makes no sense to go to the Tuapse station, because it turns out a hook, and a loss of time and money.
Trains to these stations in the summer season go from most regions of the Russian Federation, but it is better to buy tickets in advance, at least a month in advance. Checking the schedule and buying tickets now is best on the official website of Russian Railways or at the ticket office.
