How to get from the airport to Dzhubgu

Krasnodar Airport is located 110 kilometers from Dzhubga (airport on the map), it will take from 2 to 4 hours to get from it, depending on the type of transport. You can get there by taxi or buses.

  A taxi ride will cost about 2500 rubles, depending on the order method. A convenient, but relatively expensive way is to order an official taxi at the counter at the arrival terminal of domestic lines in the baggage claim area.   A bus ride will be cheaper, but it will take almost half a day, and you will have to change trains in the city.

By train to Dzhubga

There is no railway in Dzhubga, you can get by train through the nearest stations in Krasnodar (130 kilometers), Goryachy Klyuch (60 kilometers) or Tuapse (55 kilometers). The answer to the question of which of these stations is better to go to is not unambiguous and depends on your region and the date of the trip. So, the most trains go to Krasnodar, and in most cases they are cheaper than to Tuapse or Goryachy Klyuch, but it takes longer and more expensive to go from here to the resort. The Hot Spring is closer, but only some trains stop here. To Tuapse from Moscow and the regions there are all the same trains that go through Krasnodar and Goryachy Klyuch, and on some trains a ticket to Tuapse is even cheaper than to Krasnodar, although to go further. Therefore, before buying, it is better to check the prices and conditions of travel to all three stations, and take into account the cost and time to travel from the stations to the place of rest.

Trains to these stations in the summer season come from most regions of the Russian Federation, but it is better to buy tickets in advance, at least a month in advance. It's best to check the schedule and buy tickets now on the official website of Russian Railways or at the box office. When buying through the website, it is better to first register in the Russian Railways bonus system and save points for the following trips.

• To Dzhubgu via Krasnodar railway station

  Krasnodar-1 bus station (AS Krasnodar) is located within walking distance from the railway station almost at the exit from the station building (Krasnodar railway station on the map). From here to Dzhubga during the day, according to the schedule, direct and passing buses depart towards Sochi and Tuapse via Dzhubga. The cost starts from 360 rubles, 2.5 hours on the way.   If you want to get to a place of rest in comfort, you can take a taxi from 3000 rubles, or order a ready-made tourist transfer to kiwitaxi.ru from 3600 rubles.

• To Dzhubgu via Goryachy Klyuch railway station

  The railway station in Goryachy Klyuch is closer to Dzhubga, and many trains stop here after Krasnodar, but not all (Goryachy Klyuch station on the map). From here you can get a taxi cheaper, but with a transfer to the bus there are some difficulties.

  A taxi from Goryachy Klyuch to Dzhubga will cost only 1200 rubles, which is slightly more than the cost by bus when traveling with a company. However, you should order a car through applications or on the website kiwitaxi.ru, since the "bombers" at the site near the station are asking twice as much.

  If you decide to get by bus, then you will first have to take city buses with a transfer or by taxi to the local bus station, and then take the bus to Dzhubga there. Passing buses run frequently during the day, the cost starts from 160 rubles. There are also buses to Dzhubga directly from the railway station, but they depart only twice a day.

• To Dzhubgu via Tuapse railway station

  Tuapse is a convenient station to get to Dzhubga, but the problem is that during the summer season there are hard traffic jams on the Tuapse-Dzhubga section of the highway, and an ordinary one-hour trip can turn into a four-hour one. Therefore, if you plan to leave Tuapse by train and do not want to miss the train, you should leave Dzhubga at least a couple of hours, or even better for all four.

  A taxi from the Tuapse railway station to the hotel in Dzhubga will cost from 1,700 rubles, you can order a tourist transfer in advance.

  To get by bus, you first need to get from the railway station to the bus station, which can be done even on foot. Tuapse railway station is located in the city center (Tuapse railway station on the map), bus station 500 meters or 10 minutes walk from it (Tuapse bus station on the map). Commuter buses depart from the bus station to Dzhubgu during the day according to the schedule approximately every hour, 1-4 hours on the way (depending on traffic jams), the fare is 129 rubles.

By bus to Dzhubgu

There is a large bus station in Dzhubga. It is located almost in the center of the village on the main street Novorossiysk highway (Krasnodar train station on the map), and some hotels can be reached on foot from here. A taxi to the very center will cost from 50 rubles when ordering through applications, and from 100 rubles at the "bombed" parking lot.

There are many direct flights from the cities of the Krasnodar Territory to the Dzhubgi bus station, as well as long-distance buses from other regions stop here in the direction of Sochi. Commuter buses in Tuapse district in Lermontovo, Novomikhailovsky, Olginka, Nebug, etc. also start moving from here.

Long-distance buses travel here at least from Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Essentuki, Kislovodsk, Kizlyar, Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Pyatigorsk, Odessa, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Feodosia, Taganrog, Khasavyurt, Nalchik, Yalta, Rostov-on-Don. During the high season (in summer), tourist bus services are launched from major cities of the European part of the Russian Federation, but not directly to Dzhubga, but passing through to Sochi. It is best to check the schedule for long-distance destinations at bus stations and travel agencies in your city, or you can view them on the websites rasp.yandex.ru and bus.tutu.ru, but not all flights are represented. All routes in the Krasnodar Territory are on the website kpas.ru.

A bus ride, in general, is cheaper than a similar one by train. But still, given the complexity of the trip and the danger of this type of transport when driving on the mountain roads of the region, we would recommend the bus last.

By car to Dzhubgu

Distance to Dzhubgu from some cities/regions of the Russian Federation along the highway:

• Krasnodar - 120 kilometers / 2 hours on the way
• Samara – 1640 kilometers / 25 hours on the way
• Kazan - 1900 kilometers / 28 hours on the way
• Nizhny Novgorod - 1640 kilometers / 24 hours on the way
• Ufa - 2120 kilometers / 32 hours on the way

The route from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don runs along the high-speed toll federal highway M4-Don. The fare will be from 1,720 rubles or a little less if you pay for travel with a contactless transponder. For paid sections and the fare for them, see on the Rosavtodor website, and in the same place as and where to purchase and use a transponder.

You can get there on free roads, but you will spend much more time, because you will have to go through settlements and stand in traffic jams.

From the eastern regions, it is still possible to get on free roads through Volgograd or Rostov-on-Don. If you go through Volgograd, we advise you to lay a route through Elista (this is an additional 70 kilometers) and make a stop there for at least a few hours to get acquainted with the exotic sights of Kalmykia.

Please note that parking spaces in the center of the resort near the central beach are in great short supply. There are forbidding signs everywhere, tow trucks are working. Therefore, when choosing a place for accommodation, it is better to immediately specify the possibility of parking.

Transport in Dzhubga, how to move around the resort

It is best to move around Dzhubga on foot, it is better not to use a personal car. If necessary, you can take a taxi ride to, for example, get from/to the bus station or distant beaches. There are applications for ordering a taxi, trains cost from 50 rubles. If you do not know how to order through applications, then you can always find a car in the place of their concentration near the bus station and across the street from the shopping center.

For trips to neighboring resorts and beaches of the Tuapse district, you can use a commuter bus on the route Dzhubga-Tuapse and back, but we recommend doing this only as a last resort, and do not count on them too much. The fact is that the whole road from Dzhubga to Tuapse and beyond often gets up in "dead" traffic jams, and there is no need to talk about any schedule and frequency of bus traffic. Having left by bus to a neighboring village, sometimes you just can't wait for his arrival on schedule, and you have to take a taxi or walk. If you still decide to use buses, then here is the information:

In Dzhubga, suburban buses start moving from the bus station according to the schedule. Then they make several stops along the Novorossiysk Highway (Chernomorskaya Street) at designated stopping points. Tickets can be purchased both at the ticket office of the bus station and in the cabin when boarding. At each stop there is a timetable, but, as already mentioned, sometimes it is impossible to wait for them.

For reference, the bus Dzhubga-Tuapse and back runs from 05:50 to 21:00 approximately every hour and a half according to the schedule. Fares start from 16 rubles (to Lermontovo) to 129 rubles (to Tuapse). The journey to Tuapse will take about an hour and a half, due to traffic jams it may increase up to 4 hours.
