Beach overview, prices and services

There are several beaches in Dzhubga, there are sandy and Pebble. Some of them have a well-developed infrastructure: there are sun beds and umbrellas for rent, cafes and the sale of soft drinks, entertainment. Wild unfurnished, including those wishing to retire and sunbathe naked, are on the outskirts.

About beaches briefly:

• Central Beach - the most developed and the only Sandy.
• "Savage" "it's on the outskirts, pebbly, and a little less developed than Central.
• Beach sanatorium "Dzhubga" - pebbly, there are cafes and modest entertainment. Entrance is limited to the sanatorium, a fee of 100 rubles is charged, but it is easy to get in for free on a detour.
• Beach camping "sea wave" - pebbly, with great depth, without entertainment. Entrance is paid-300 rubles.

• Access to the beaches is free or 300 rubles.
• Sun beds and deck chairs for rent-200 rubles / day, 50 rubles / hour.
• Toilet – 30 rubles.
• Shower and changing cubicle-free of charge.
• Draft beer-80 rubles/0.5 L.
• Draft kvass and lemonades-40 rubles/0.5 L.
• Jet skis-1500 rubles/10 min.
• Rent SUP-board-500 rubles / hour.

Prices here are a relative concept, you can and should bargain, especially for entertainment.

And now a more detailed description of each of the beaches of the resort:

• Central or municipal beach

  The most developed and popular beach, and the only sandy one in Djubga (Central on the map). More precisely, it is conditionally Sandy: on the shore there is sand and pebbles. Its length is about 600 meters, and in peak season it is very crowded with vacationers, but if you go to the edge, there are much fewer people. The depth here is average, suitable for children. In addition, there is a designated area with a water fence for children, and even a recreation area for low-mobility citizens.

  On the Central there is a lot of entertainment and well-developed infrastructure, and the prices here are even lower than on the outlying beaches. On the shore, sun beds and umbrellas for rent, VIP gazebos, massage, banana and pill rides, quad bike rental, Sapsurfing boards rental. For small children there are trampolines and water slides. Adults and young people will not be bored either, because along the coast there is a conditional tourist promenade with cafes, bars and slot machines, and you can go straight to it in swimsuits.

  

  

  

• Savage Beach

  It is a continuation of the central beach and is located on the eastern outskirts ( "Savage" on the map). You can get here along the shore from the central beach, they are separated by a breakwater. It also leads to a passage along Portovaya Street. If you move along the coast further from the center, there will be several more sections of almost wild pebble beaches.

  This is a Pebble Beach and a much quieter corner than the central one. Here, too, everything is for recreation, but on a smaller scale. Sun loungers and all water activities are available for rent. And there is more transparent water and stones along the breakwater, over which you can swim with a mask and tube. Of course, you should not expect anything stunning from such snorkeling, but you can see small fish and "forests" of algae.

  

  

  

• Beach sanatorium "Dzhubga"

  Behind the sanatorium "Dzhubga" is a Pebble Beach, conditionally divided into several beach areas: sanatorium Sanatorium "Joy", sanatorium "Dzhubga", children's (Beach Resort "Dzhubga" on the map). They are trying to limit the entrance here in every possible way, including by deception. So, if you try to pass here through the gates of the sanatorium, you will be informed that this is a private beach, and they will demand money for the passage. Recall that the legislation of the Russian Federation does not provide for private yarn, so this is just a divorce for money. You can go to it for FREE along the path along the river (the entrance to the path is located near the water park, made in the form of an inconspicuous old arch) or along the path from the parking lot of the checkpoint of the Camping "Sea Wave" (see below). Even from the central beach you can get here by boat across the river for 50 rubles (swim literally 20 meters), but the price is clearly too high, it is better to go around on foot.

  And now, actually, to the beach itself. It is not very long, at most 200 meters, but at the same time it is not as crowded as on the central one, since it is not very popular. On the shore pebbles mixed with sand, under water at the bottom of the sand. The slope of the bottom is average, for small children is not very suitable. There are two cafes selling soft drinks and beer (prices are higher than on the central). Sun beds for rent 200 rubles. From entertainment there is only an inflatable slide for children (1 hour-20 USD) and catamaran rental (1 hour - 300 USD).

  

  

  

• Beach camping "sea wave"

  The beach of the Camping "sea wave" is the only paid beach in Dzhubga so far. The entrance fee is 300 rubles per person regardless of whether on foot or by car. According to the Water Code of the Russian Federation, it is impossible to charge a fee for access to the beach, but local businessmen (apparently, not without the help of the local administration) found a way to get around this by assigning the camping the status of a tourist trail. Of course, there is no tourist trail here, but only Commerce.

  For the reason mentioned above we strongly do not recommend visiting this beach for a fee, especially since the beach itself is disgusting: pebbles and stones on the shore and under water. A more or less cleared section of the coast with a length of only a few tens of meters with a very sharp slope of the bottom (not suitable for children), and everything else is huge blocks and stones. The camping area also does not shine with beauty: around the garbage and traces of construction. But in fairness it should be said that if you need autocamping, then you can consider this option.

  This beach is located on the West Bank of the Djubga River (Sea wave on the map), a dirt road leads to the checkpoint, and in front of the checkpoint there is free parking for those who still decide to pay 300 rubles for admission. You can also get here for free on the trail through the Hedgehog mountain to the snake Gorge, but it is the beach that is not worth such a difficult path.

  

  

  

• Children's Beach

  This beach belongs to a children's camp and is legally closed to outsiders. In practice, you can go through it along the shore or even settle down to rest, but during the bathing of children, the administration has every right to ask you to leave.

Hotels and accommodation in Dzhubga and where to stay

In Dzhubga there are many accommodation options of different categories: hotels, guest houses, campsites, campsites, private apartments. It is better to book in advance at least a week before arrival, and even better before the start of the tourist season. It is especially important to book a holiday for the days from Friday to Sunday, because on these days many vacationers come from Krasnodar.

There is no official division into districts in Dzhubga, since the village is already too small. But from a tourist point of view, the resort can be divided into three parts to choose the location:

• The center (Center on map). This is the area between the Central Beach and the main road . Here is the most convenient, but also the most expensive accommodation. Within walking distance will be everything you need to relax.
• The area behind the main road (area on the map. Accommodation here is much cheaper, but the beach will have to walk away, and you need to cross the main road.
• The area on the West Bank of the Jubga River (area on the map. Quiet Place, but not very comfortable to accommodate. It is dirty, bad roads, no street lighting, access to the beaches is paid or limited to a sanatorium.
