Phuket hotels with private beach

On the island Phuket in Thailand there are not very many beaches and tourist areas where hotels are located on the first line by the sea, and even more so they have their own beach and their own territory. Most of the most popular and developed areas, such as Patong, Karon, etc., do not have a first line at all, and the hotels on them are separated from the beach by a highway, sometimes very busy with transport, which is not very pleasant and convenient. But to begin with, it is worth noting that the concept of "hotel's own beach" in Phuket and in Thailand as a whole is a relative concept. By law, all the beaches of the country are public, i.e. no one has the right to prevent access to them or charge a fee. However, some hotels build up and enclose the area around the beach in such a way that it is simply physically impossible to get to it not through the hotel. But even such beaches can be freely accessed by anyone directly through the hotel's territory, and no one has the right to prevent this.

Below is a list of Phuket hotels with their own private beach and links to their descriptions and reviews. If you do not find a suitable option for yourself among them, you can find and book accommodation on Phuket Island on websites or a search form. So, here are the beaches of Phuket with hotels on the first line, as well as hotels with their own beach:

Patong

To There is no first line in Patong in principle, and here the area is separated from the beach by one of the busiest roads. However, in the north and south of the area there are several excellent hotels with their own secluded beaches.

The Naka Phuket Villa
This hotel has its own private beach in the bay, which can only be accessed through the territory. In addition, it is located far from the main road and even the most inquisitive tourists do not come here. It is located near the north of Patong.
Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa
The large Thavorn Beach Village Resort has a very wide nakalay beach, which it shares with another small hotel. Guests' access is limited, but the rating based on reviews, unfortunately, is not very high, even though it is a "top five". The Nakalai beach itself is also far from the best.
Amari Phuket
Amari Phuket is located very close to the main entertainment center and the most popular tourist area of the island – Patong. If you are not very pretentious about the quality of the hotel (after all, it is not a top five) and the cleanliness of the beach, then the perfect combination of privacy and accessibility of entertainment is simply not to be found. The famous Bangla Road entertainment street can be reached on foot, while the beach here is limited to the hotel and separated from the rest of Patong by an impregnable cape.
Tri Trang Beach Resort by Diva Management
It is located near Patong, but it's a long way on foot. But the beach here is long and almost no one happens.
Merlin Beach Resort
Very isolated beach and hotel. The conditions for swimming are not the best, but the bay is very beautiful, as is the hotel itself. In addition, the Patong entertainment center is not very far away.

Karon

On Karon there are only two hotels on the first line.

Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket
Located in the far north of Karon, which, by the way, is considered the best beach on the island. Although it is not bounded by anything from the rest of the coast, "guests" rarely come here due to the remoteness of this part of the beach.
Beyond Resort Karon
This is already the southernmost part of Karon, where it is already crowded, but the price of accommodation here is much lower.

Kata and Kata Noi

There are several hotels on the first line with their own sun loungers for guests. However, access is not limited in any way, and anyone can get into the coastal zone of these hotels just while walking along the beach.

Kata Beach Resort
This is a hotel of average price category and average quality. One of the few on Kata beach located not across the street from the sandy strip. To get to the water, it is enough to leave the hotel, but anyone has access to the shore.
Boathouse by Montara
Another average hotel in the very south of Kata. The beach here almost ends and is very narrow. The hotel restaurant is partially located right on the sand with a great view of the sea, service (drinks, massage, etc.) right on the sun loungers.
Katathani Phuket Beach Resort
A very good hotel according to the guests' estimates. A huge stretch of territory along the coast encloses access from the road, but you can get to it by walking along the beach.
The Shore at Katathani Resort
One of the best guest reviews and very expensive. Located on the southern outskirts of Kata noi, but "guests" access", again, possible while walking along the shore. Despite the high price, the rooms are always busy and it is better to book in advance.

Cape Panva

These hotels are very similar: they are located nearby and of the same price category. Access directly to the public beach, but there are almost no "guests" here. Unfortunately, the quality of the beach itself here leaves much to be desired, since the influence of low tides is very strong, during which it is simply impossible to swim. But this is one of the few places on the island where there are no waves during the low season (from June to November).
Bandara Villas Phuket
This is an expensive five-star hotel with access to a public but very sparsely populated Ao yon beach. There are almost no "Guests" here either, if only from neighboring hotels. The influence of the tides is strong here.
Cape Panwa Hotel
The private beach of this hotel is considered the best on Cape Panva. Objectively, it is, of course, more beautiful than suitable for swimming: you can swim comfortably only at high tide. But it is really well isolated, which is used by guests of neighboring hotels on the cape, for which they are even offered free shuttle busses here.

Mei Khao

Almost all hotels on Mae Khao Beach have their own private beach. It is very long here, almost 11 kilometers, and very deserted. Minus the area and all the beaches: entertainment and large shops are very far away, and transport here is only a taxi to order.

Nai Yang

Several hotels on Nai Yang beach are located on the first line, but the beach strip is shared, access is not restricted in any way. But Nai Yang is a fairly sparsely populated place, so you can consider these options:

Bang Tao

Anantara Phuket Layan Resort and Spa
To the north of Bang tao, isolated. Minus – very shallow water
Dusit Thani Laguna Hotel
The hotel is on the first line on the deserted part of Bang Tao. The access of "guests" is not limited, but the beach has its own sunbeds and infrastructure, and there is a magnificent lagoon nearby.
Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort
Like the previous Dusit Thani Laguna Hotel, it is located on the first line next to the lagoon. Guest reviews are excellent.
Sunwing Resort & Spa Bangtao Beach
An inexpensive hotel on the first line on Bang Tao with its own well-groomed beach area, not limited to "guests".
Arinara Bangtao Beach Resort
Another inexpensive hotel on the first line of Bang Tao with a very beautiful swimming pool. According to reviews, excellent.
Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort & Spa
Beautiful large hotel on the first line. It is located almost in the very south of Bang Tao, where the density of holidaymakers on the beach and boats in the sea is greater. But in general, a great option for a budget holiday, besides within walking distance of the more developed Surin district.
Andaman Bangtao Bay Resort
The most inexpensive hotel on the first line of Bang Tao at its southernmost tip. If your budget is limited, then there is no better option here.

Kamala Beach

Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach Hotel
Novotel Phuket Kamala is located on the secluded northern part of Kamala Beach, and although the access of "guests" from the southern part of the area is not limited, there are very few outsiders here. Besides, it was recently opened.
Layalina Hotel Phuket
Access directly to the beach. Inexpensive, excellent guest ratings.
Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort and Aquamarine Resort and Villa
They share a small isolated part of the beach in the south of Kamala.

Other Phuket hotels with private beach

Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort
One of the most famous hotels with its isolated beach. Great for a beach holiday, but there is no infrastructure or entertainment nearby.
The Surin Phuket Hotel
Luxury accommodation for reasonable money with its own beach, limited from guests by the jungle and the hotel's territory. It is located just north of Surin.
Andaman White Beach Resort
A lovely secluded beach and hotel on the west coast near Knighton. There is no infrastructure, there are few guests. You can get to the shore only through the territory.
Trisara Phuket Villas & Residences
Its an isolated beach near Knighton. Access is only through the territory.
Baan Krating Phuket Resort (Baan Krating Phuket Resort)
An average quiet hotel away from the hustle and bustle, from popular beaches. It is located almost in the jungle, far to the south of Phuket near Naiharn beach. There are regular rooms and private bungalows. But the most important thing is that, although small, it has its own private beach, where no outsider visits, simply because it is difficult to get to it. The disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of infrastructure nearby, because even to eat something outside the local restaurant, you will have to take a taxi.
The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa Phuket
Very isolated hotel and beach of average quality on the east coast, no "neighbors" and infrastructure nearby, nearby Phuket town. The depth in the sea is small and the influence of the tides is strong, but in the low season (from June to December) there are no strong waves, as on the west coast.
All Seasons Naiharn Phuket Hotel
