How to get from the airport to the city and resorts of Krabi province

• Taxi

  

  Only an official taxi is available at the airport, it is paid before the start of the trip at the counter inside the airport. It is necessary to contact the staff at the counter and inform the place where you need to get to, they will tell you the cost of the trip, pay it off and go to the parking lot for boarding.

  The cost of the trip for the landmark passenger car/minivan (as of 2015):

• Minivans and buses

  

  Minivans and buses depart several times a day to Krabi Town, Ao Nang and to Taladkao bus station according to a certain schedule. They can also be sent by occupancy after the arrival of the next flight.

  Tickets are sold at the counter inside the airport (on the ground floor). Fare, baht:

  • Taladkao Bus Station - 80 baht
  • Krabi Town Center (Chao Fah Road) and Pi Pi Island Marina, Lanta - 90
  • Ao Nang Beach - 150

  Back from Krabi Town to the airport, the minwans go to 07:00, 08:00, 10:30 , 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 17:00 from Chao Fah Road. Minivans depart from Ao Nang approximately every hour from 06:00 to 16:00, you can get on them on the main road along the beach. Also, tickets for private minivans to the airport are sold at travel agencies for 200 baht.

  Travel time from Krabi Town is 30-40 minutes, from Ao Nang – 90 minutes.

• Minibus taxis (songthaew)

  Fixed-route taxis do not enter the airport, they need to be "caught" on the main road, which is reached through the parking lot 300 meters from the exit from the terminal. You can get to Krabi Town from 50 baht.

• Transfer to the islands

  There are travel agencies at the airport offering organized transfers to the islands of Pi-Pi and Lanta, and even ready-made excursions around the province.

Airport infrastructure, facilities, device

Krabi Airport, although small and provincial, is modern and well-equipped. There is everything you need to start traveling in the province: currency exchange, travel agencies, car rental, taxi stand, tickets for buses and boats in the province. At the counters you can find free maps of the province and entire booklets with detailed information about resorts in English and even Russian.

There will be no problems with orientation at the airport, because the terminal is very simple. All necessary infrastructure on arrival is located on the ground floor.
