Talad Kao Bus Station in Krabi

Krabi Talad Kao Bus Station is the main bus station in the province. It is here that almost all intercity buses from neighboring provinces arrive, as well as minivans from the resorts of the province. The only exceptions are rare tourist buses and minivans from neighboring provinces, for example from Phuket, Trang, Surat Thani, which arrive in the center of Krabi Town. If you are traveling by a large regular bus from Bangkok, Hat Yai, Trang, Koh Samui, Phangan, Surat Thani, you will find yourself at this bus terminal.

How to get from the terminal to Krabi Town

Approximately every 10-20 minutes a Songthaew shuttle bus departs from the terminal along the route Bus Terminal – Center Krabi-town (cost 20 baht) – Nopparat Tara Beach - Ao Nang (cost 60 baht) - Ao Nammao beach and seashell cemetery (80 baht). From Krabi Town from Klong Jilad marina you can then take a ferry to the islands Lanta and Phi-Phi. From Ao Nang, you can take a boat to Railay Beach or take a shuttle bus to Ao Nammao Beach.

Schedule and cost

• Bangkok

  . Buses leave from Bangkok from the southern (Sai Tai Mai) and northern (Mor Chit) terminals (see Bangkok bus stations). The cost starts from 660 baht (see Thailand's currency and exchange rate). Travel time is 10-12 hours.

• Surat Thani (Koh Samui, Phangan).

  Depart from the bus station Surat Thani. The cost is 170 baht, 4 hours on the way.

• Koh Samui and Phangan

  . From the islands of Koh Samui and Phangan a comprehensive transfer (bus+ferry) via Surat Thani is offered. The cost is from 500 and 600 baht, respectively.

• Phuket

  . Minivans costing 160 baht depart from the new Phuket Bus Station and back every hour from 07:00 to 18:00, 3-4 hours on the way.

• Lanta Island

  . Minivans depart every hour from 07:00 to 17:00, an hour and a half on the way, the cost is 250 baht.
