Freedom beach (Freedom beach, Freedom Beach) is one of the most inaccessible and most beautiful beaches Phuket (Freedom beach on the island map). There are usually very few people here, but gradually this place becomes crowded and equipped. A hotel was opened nearby and now you can get here by road and then on foot, although previously there was only one way – by boat.
There are no hotels here, there is only a cafe from the infrastructure, which is open only in high season from November to May. There are sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach (the price for renting sunbeds is very high, from 200 baht). In the low season, you can buy something to eat or drink only from a merchant with your hands. There is no entertainment, because of this there is no fuss and running around on the beach, and many people really like it.
The beach itself is small, 300 meters. He is incredibly beautiful, and many speak of him simply – "Paradise!". It is hidden in a small bay and is perfectly protected from waves. The water here is very clear, the fish swim right by the shore, the sand is clean and pleasant. Unfortunately, the beach is poorly cleaned, and you can find garbage of natural and artificial origin.
The easiest way to get to Freedom Beach is by boat from the neighboring Patong beaches, Karon or Kata. But it's not cheap: a round-trip boat with a wait costs from 1500 to 2000 baht. There are no regular boats, you need to search and hire. One boat can accommodate up to 8 people, but if there are two of you, you will still have to pay for a full boat, unless you find yourself traveling companions. Another option, on the ground, was opened quite recently. You need to go to the Avista Hide Away hotel, drive past its entrance for another 200 meters. On the right side of the road there will be a gate in the fence, through which they launch for 200 baht per person. But this is not a fee for entering the beach (all beaches in Thailand are free), but for passing through private territory to the beach. Then it remains to go another 200 meters
