On the one hand, there is everything for a comfortable tourist stay: motorcycle and car rental, travel agencies, a bank with an exchange office, shops and markets, several restaurants. But all this infrastructure is very dispersed throughout the entire strip of the four-kilometer area along the coast, there is no single center. Accordingly, there is nowhere to go out and walk in the evening. You can even say that in the evenings there is a real wilderness. All this is further aggravated by the fact that hotels and houses are separated by a long distance and a forest. On the other hand, there is a ring road running along the entire district, around which life is in full swing, and one has only to walk a few hundred meters to it, as you can find shops, shops, markets, salons and so on.

Getting to Mei Nam Beach is very easy. A ring road runs along the entire beach just a couple of hundred meters from the shore, and you can get here by Songteo minibus (from Naton - 50 baht, Chaweng - 100 baht). A taxi ride from the Airport will cost from 630 baht, a minivan 200 baht. In the western part of the beach there is a pier of the company Lompraya, where high-speed catamarans arrive from the island Phangan, Tao, Hua Hin and even Bangkok.
