Description and is it worth a visit
Hua Hin Railway Station is positioned as one of the main Hua Hin attractions and the most beautiful station Thailand. For the locals, this place is very important and almost sacred. The fact is that it was thanks to the construction of the station in 1911 Hua Hin began to develop and turned into a resort. But the most important thing is that in 1920, an additional Royal waiting room appeared next to the main building, in which members of the royal family spent time waiting for the train. Currently, the Royal Hall is not used, but outsiders are not allowed there either.
Architecturally, the station is really interesting, especially the royal hall. It is made in a traditional Asian style, completely made of wood. You can come close to it and look inside, but there is nothing special there, you can only see the air conditioners. The main building of the station is made in the same traditional style and completely made of wood. In front of the station building there is a sign with the name of the city. It is a kind of symbol and is sold in the form of souvenir magnets and key chains, be sure to take a picture next to it.
If you cross the railway, you can walk through a small park. An old steam locomotive is also on display there.
