Hua Hin Night Market

Hua Hin Night Market (Chat sila, Hua Hin Night Bazaar) is one of the best places in the city to spend the evening, especially with your family. If you don't spend time at the resort in bars with girls in the tourist area, then you can at least go to this night market every day. It will always be interesting here, and every time you can find something new.

In general, there are night markets in Thailand at almost every resort and in a major city, and Hua Hin is no exception. For those who do not know what Thai night markets are, let us explain that this is not just a place where something is sold and bought. This is something much more interesting, in our way they can be compared with our fairs. In addition to a huge number of souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, jewelry, local and traditional products, an indispensable attribute of each night market is a food court, many cafes and food stalls. Here you can have a cheap and tasty meal, try a lot of traditional and exotic dishes and drinks for us. There is always something like an exhibition or an art workshop on the market, and at least some entertainment for children. In some markets, the entertainment center is a stage where different performances are shown (unfortunately, there is no stage in Hua Hin market).

As for trade specifically, the prices here are slightly higher than in the shops and markets of the city, but you need to bargain, and you should definitely do it with pleasure and with a smile, and then you will definitely be satisfied with the purchase. If you want to buy something cheaper without haggling, then it's better to get off the main street of the market and wander along the neighboring streets, where there are plenty of shops with lower prices in the evening too.

During the walk, do not forget to go to the covered part of the market, called Chatsila. The entrance to it is located approximately in the middle of Soi 72 Street. This is a more free-from-trade and more artistic part of the market. There is something like a museum in a wooden house (you need to go up to the second floor) with furnishings and installations in the rooms. Street artists and craftsmen work and sell their works on the street. There is also a pleasant food court, consisting of many shops specializing each in its own cuisine or certain dishes. Do not forget to immediately look into the wine department, where wine from a local winery is sold. Children here can play with a small model of a steam locomotive.

In general, it's always fun and noisy here, and you should definitely go here at least one of the evenings. And most likely, once you get here, you will visit it every evening.

🕐 Working hours

🚶 How to get there

Hua Hin Night Market is located almost in the city center along Hua Hin Soi 72 street, just a few minutes walk from the tourist center itself, across the street (night market on Hua Hin map). You can use the clock tower as a reference point. From it you need to walk a little along the main road to the north, and the market will be on your left. Keep in mind that not all part of the market works right on the Soi 72 road, you can also go deeper into small alleys from this street.
