Klai Kang Won Palace is another royal palace, or rather the residence of the king and his family in Hua Hin. The name can be translated as "Away from worries." Its construction was completed in 1929 by King Rama VII, and it is still used by the royal family. But during periods when none of the family members are here, it is open to all comers.
In fact, it is difficult to call it a palace, rather it looks like a royal summer residence. It is built of wood, they say that it is made of valuable teak, in the European style with Spanish motifs. There is nothing on the first floor of the palace except the park. The premises are located on the second floor, and you need to pay extra for entering them.
When visiting the palace, you should strictly adhere to the dress code. If you are dressed for the beach, you can take a cape for free at the entrance, leaving a deposit of 100 baht. Taking pictures inside the palace is strictly prohibited.

It is open daily from 08:30 - 15:30, except on days when members of the royal family rest here.
💵Entrance fee / ticket price
30 baht for general entrance to the territory (0.92 USD, see Thailand's currency and exchange rate), 60 baht for entrance to the territory and the second floor.
🚶 How to get there
It is located two kilometers from the city center on the main road Phetkasem Road (on the map), you can reach it on foot. The entrance from the road is inconspicuous, but it can be recognized by royal paraphernalia and military guards.
