Budget and independent tourists have long had difficulties getting from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport to the most popular tourist area along Khaosan Street (Khao San Road). I had to use a taxi for this, or go with transfers on the airport express train (airport metro) and bus. Now, since November 2017, a direct express bus has been launched, which for just 60 baht will allow you to get from the airport to the tourist area of Khao San Road.

- The bus has a route numbering – S1.
- The fare is 60 baht (approximately 1.8 USD, see Thailand's currency and exchange rate).
- The journey takes 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic jams.
- Opening hours are from 06:00 to 20:00, departure every 30 minutes.
- The bus makes few stops along the way, does not stop at Pratunam district (you can get to Pratunam much faster by Airport metro ARL). Stops are made only in the historical district on Ratannakosin Island (see the map with the route and stops below).
- They are sent from exit 7 (Gate 7) on the first floor of the terminal.
- The fare is paid in the bus.
