Settlement "Chaika" in Zaozernoye
It is the ruins of a Greco-Scythian settlement founded around the middle of the 4th century BC by Chersonesos. In the middle of the 2nd century. captured by the Scythians and existed until the middle of the first century AD. It was discovered in 1959, and since then there have been archaeological excavations. Many of the artifacts found here are on display at Local History Museum of Yevpatoria.
Today, the settlement is a complex of ruins, which for most tourists are perceived simply as a pile of geometrically arranged stones. Indeed, for the most part there is nothing to see here: there are no buildings and artifacts here, there are only outlines of buildings made of stones among bushes and trees. Unfortunately, the ruins are not protected in any way in the period between excavations, and are gradually destroyed by tourists and locals. Read more about the settlement "Seagull" here.

The first is the largest lake in the Crimea and one of the most picturesque, because in good weather in its waters you can see a beautiful pink shade. Another reason is that you can swim in the lake. And finally, the third reason to come to the lake β its healing black mud. And although experts do not recommend taking mud procedures on their own, here you can often see vacationers smeared with soot-black mud. If you also decide to try self-medication, at least read the article "Therapeutic mud of the Crimea". Learn more about Lake Sasyk-Sivash here.

Banana Republic water park
This water park is located not in Yevpatoria itself but on its outskirts, almost in the village of Pribrezhnoye on the seashore. It is believed that this is the largest and best water park in the Crimea, at least, so its creators believe. The slides here are the highest and there are a lot of them, the territory of the water park is huge, there is a swimming pool, a cafe, etc. The water park will be interesting not only for children, but also for adults. True, there are also disadvantages that you should know about before visiting. The slides here are not only new, there are also old and not the safest. In peak season, queues on the slides reach 30 minutes. Prices in the dining room are high, while you can not carry anything with you, you can not leave the water park either. Well, a lot of complaints about visitors ' reviews are caused by black VIP bracelets that give the right to go to the slides out of turn: those who have them are allowed to pass without a queue only with scandals, and those who do not have them are very dissatisfied with the extraordinary ones.

In total, the settlement survived six periods: Greek, Scythian, Greco-Pontic, second Scythian, third Scythian and fourth Scythian. All these periods ended in the early 2nd century AD, when the settlement was abandoned for centuries. People returned to him only after the Great Patriotic War, when the military erected an observation post and a communications center on the hill (Kara-Tobe translates as "Black Hill").β¦ However, you can learn in detail the whole history of this place during a visit to the museum. Space communications center ADU-1000 and P-400 in Zaozernoye
Built in Soviet times, the space communications center and the Pluto antenna complex provided deep space exploration programs until the late 1970s. The building for those times is unique and advanced, but in 1978 it was replaced by one built not far from here in the village Milk radio telescope RT-70. Therapeutic Lake Konrad in Molochnoye
On the outskirts of the village of Molochnoye, Lake Konrad stretches along the beach. Its bottom muddy mud is considered curative, and during the rest you can use absolutely free of charge or cosmetic or therapeutic procedures. But since there is no infrastructure for mud treatment, you will have to extract mud from the bottom yourself and carry out procedures in the Wild on the shore. However, it is quite simple to do this: you do not have to dig pits or wells, but simply with your hands or an improvised object to go deeper below the silt level by a few centimeters, and get fresh black mud from there. Since 1987, a special tourist tram worked in Molochny, which delivered tourists from the Beregovaya boarding house to the beach, and was one of the main "chips" of this small resort. It was one of the shortest tram lines in the world with a length of one and a half kilometers, and to ride and photograph the blue cars, even came here from Yevpatoria and other neighboring resorts. Unfortunately, in 2016, the tram completely stopped working, the remaining wires and tracks are gradually being stolen for scrap. This is a closed area, but at the entrance to the village you can see from the side the huge "plates" of the ktna-200 radio telescope and the ADU-1000 antenna. It is unlikely that these conditional "attractions" will be interesting to a wide range of tourists, but if you are interested in technology, you can admire these "engineering works of art" from the side through the fence. Museum "marine curiosities" in Shtormovoe
This is a unique Museum of its kind, the exhibits of which are unusual objects washed ashore by the sea. The idea is to show how nature in the face of the sea can become an artist, creating almost objects of art. Of course, in fact, the exhibits are far from art objects, but the stones, for many centuries or even millennia, turned by waves to The Shape of the head of an alien, a bun and the like, can not but surprise. The exhibits in the museum are both man-made (stones, shells) and man-made (bottles, ceramics, even chairs), but changed beyond recognition during their stay at sea.
