There is a huge fund of hotels in Yevpatoria and a large number of housing for rent is offered. There are, among other things, many sanatoriums and children's camps with their own beaches, to which access to outsiders is limited.

Prices for accommodation in Yevpatoria are slightly higher than in other resorts of the Crimea, so it is recommended to book a hotel or rent accommodation in advance. And another very important point: if you come to Yevpatoria for a short period (a few days), it will be very difficult to find accommodation upon arrival, and the prices for you will be inflated. The fact is that local landlords of housing prefer to rent rooms and apartments for a long time, and there is no shortage of such demand, since many families with children come here for a long stay and treatment. In which place is it better to choose a hotel in Yevpatoria

Unfortunately, not the entire coastline in Yevpatoria is accessible for swimming and beach holidays. There are closed children's and therapeutic beaches, a rocky and concrete shore, a seaport. All areas inaccessible to ordinary vacationers for swimming are marked on our map in red (see below). And here is a brief description of the areas that will help you choose the right place to stay:

• Center

  Center on the map

  The most developed and rich in entertainment and infrastructure area is the city center or "Resort area". It offers the most hotels and accommodation for rent, close to shops, cafes, canteens, a lot of children's entertainment. There is a developed pedestrian Frunze embankment and almost two kilometers of sandy beaches. But keep in mind that during the peak season they are very crowded, and if you don't like the hustle and bustle, you will have to get out to the outlying beaches by bus or taxi.

  Within the center it is better to choose accommodation / hotel no further than Lenin Avenue, otherwise it will be too far to the beach.

• Old Town

  A lot of housing is offered in the old town, opposite the Tereshkova embankment. Almost all the historical sights of Yevpatoria are concentrated here, and the area itself is pleasant and interesting, with a historical atmosphere. But these places are not suitable for a comfortable beach holiday: the Tereshkova embankment is concrete, stones are hidden under the water, it is dangerous to swim. The center or the "new beach" along Simferopol Street can be reached from here in 15-20 minutes on foot.

• Eastern district/Peresyp

  In the east of the city (towards Saki city) another popular tourist area has been formed, called "Peresyp" by the locals. There are many hotels here, housing is offered for rent, but the infrastructure and entertainment here are not as developed as in the center. But the beaches here are much better than in the center. A very long sandy "New Beach" stretches for many kilometers. The problem, perhaps, can only be poorly developed transport in this part of the city: there is only one bus route No. 6.

• Sanatorium zone

  The sanatorium zone is located in the western part of the city, and it makes sense to settle here only if you stay in one of the boarding houses or sanatoriums with its own therapeutic beach. The fact is that the entire beach here is blocked by the territories of sanatoriums, and access to them is prohibited to outsiders, since they have the status of medical and children's. There are only two small exits to the beaches with a width of 30-40 meters opposite Polupanov Street ("Sun" beach) and Ivan Franko. There are almost no private houses and rented housing here.
