The city of Saki is located on the western coast of the Crimean Peninsula (Saki on the map (). Rest in Saki is determined by the peculiarities of the city itself. Its main residential part is not located on the seashore and is located behind a chain of lakes. Therefore, the beach area is located as if separately. To get into it, you have to go along the highway towards Yevpatoria, almost leaving the city. However, most hotels are located in this coastal area, and not in the center. In the center there are only a few treated sanatoriums and hotels of urban type. Also near the city on the shore there is a separate resort area and suburb - the village of Novofedorovka, which is an independent, developed and very pleasant place.

The resort area itself is almost five kilometers of beaches located along Morskaya Street. On its sides, closer to the sea, large boarding houses, on the opposite – private mini-hotels and recreation centers.

Beaches

Lovers of sandy beaches, of course, will appreciate the conditions that can be found in Saki. For example, in some places the width of the beaches reaches 150 meters! Given the total length, it turns out a very large area on which a large number of vacationers can safely fit. The depth near the shore is small, which contributes to a large influx of vacationers with children. The promenade is only partially present and, at the moment, does not look very impressive. Nevertheless, it is already known that funds were allocated for its reconstruction and bringing it into proper condition.

But there is a problem in the beach area. If you stay in hotels or sanatoriums not near the shore, but in the city center, then you will have to "break through" to the water every time. The fact is that the chain of hotels and sanatoriums practically blocked the exits to the shore, and it is impossible to pass through the territory. You can go either around, or only in a few places: between the sanatoriums "Parus" and "coastal", and between the Recreation Center "surf" and the children's camp "wave" in the administration area. The beaches themselves have everything you need to relax. On their territory there are changing rooms, showers, toilets, garbage cans, sheds. Umbrellas and deck chairs can be rented. There are water and ordinary attractions, there are playgrounds for beach volleyball or football. Private traders offer a ride on bananas, plates, Dragons, skis or jet skis. You can even fly behind the boat on a parachute.

Naturally, the beaches are mostly divided between nearby recreation centers and boarding houses. The degree of their arrangement is different – depending on the financial condition of such institutions.

Unfortunately, except for the beaches in this part of the city there is nothing interesting. Yes, there are small cafes and restaurants, there are grocery stores. But there is nowhere to go for a walk, there is nothing to occupy yourself in the evenings, all the rest takes place on the territory of the hotel or boarding house. Infrastructure

Given that Saki is not only a resort, but also not a small city by the standards of the Crimea, as well as the center of a large area, the infrastructure of the settlement is quite developed:

• You can travel around the city by minibus, bus or taxi.
• There is a large hospital and polyclinic, pharmacy points, bank offices, post offices.
• There are many shops of various profiles, including a branch of the PUD supermarket chain.
• In the central part of the city there is a bus station that allows you to go to any area of the Crimea or to the mainland of Russia.
• A railway passes through the city, along which trains currently run to Simferopol and Yevpatoria.

Naturally, almost all of the above can be found only in the main part of the sac, in the center. In the resort area, the infrastructure is limited and represented only by small shops and cafes. Attractions and entertainment

There are practically no attractions in Saki, you can only see these places:

• Saki city park. It occupies an area of 23 hectares. Once this park was the pride of the townspeople, more than 80 species of various trees grew on its territory, two artificial ponds were created, two of which exactly repeat the outlines of the Black and Azov seas. Considering that people go to Saki not only to relax on the beaches, but also to be treated, we can say that the tourist season here lasts all year round. If you go here on vacation for the sake of beaches and the sea, then the season for you will last from May to September. The bathing season in the sea begins in the second half of June and lasts until the end of September, but if you come here earlier, even in May, you can swim in the healing Saxon Lake. True, due to the fact that it is very shallow and very salty, there is no beach as such, swimming in it is rather an exception than a rule.
