In fact, the beach is almost always deserted.

And lovers of "wild" rest in tents and motorhomes come here with pleasure, for which they arrange their tent camps on the beach less than a kilometer from the village on the territory of an abandoned campsite, or just on the shore among rare trees and shrubs. Yes, so you will save on housing, but do not forget about the water protection and conservation zones established by law. Recall that traffic and parking outside the equipped roads are prohibited at a distance of up to 500 meters from the seashore. And this means that if you go to the beach by car, or even more so arrange parking there, a fine of 4.5 thousand rubles can be issued. In addition, it is indecent and disrespectful to other vacationers. Also, the territory around Lake Airchinskoye is recognized by old Soviet regulatory documents as a water protection zone, and from there you may be asked to leave.

The beach in Vitino is completely Sandy. The sand is very fine and pleasant for walking, mixed with crushed shells and the water itself. The water is very clean and clear, and only sometimes bad weather and strong waves raise a suspension of sand, making it cloudy. The slope of the bottom is small, the depth set is smooth, so it is safe and convenient to relax with children here. Just do not forget about reasonable precautions, because despite the presence of a rescue tower, it is almost always empty.

In the center of Vitino, the beach is under a small cliff and is quite narrow, only a few meters. In principle, this is enough for rest, because it is not crowded even in peak season. But if this is not enough for you, you can walk along the shore just a couple of hundred meters, and you will find yourself on a completely deserted, wide and very long sandy strip. And so you can go almost indefinitely, because the beach stretches continuously on both sides of the village for tens of kilometers, ending in Yevpatoria on the one hand, and on the belyaus spit behind Popovka on the other.

There is no infrastructure on the shore either in Vitino itself or on the nearest beaches at all. Therefore, you will have to take care of everything yourself: bring drinks and snacks, stock up on a beach umbrella and bedding to replace the chaise longue. There is very little shade here, and therefore we do not advise neglecting an umbrella or a portable awning. Of course, there are no beach activities in sight, so you should take care of this moment on vacation, taking with you children's swimming circles, volleyball, board games, etc.

Contrary to what all sorts of pseudo-guidebooks write about rest in Vitino, there are no attractions and plenty of entertainment here. There is a problem with the purchase of ready-made excursions, and therefore you will have to take care of it yourself. It is good if you come here on your own transport, because then you can independently visit some of the sights and entertainment in this area of the Crimea. We advise at least these:

• Go to Evpatoria to explore its sights, you can even go several times, because there are a lot of historical and cultural attractions and entertainment.
• Go to Saki to anoint yourself with mud on the Saka Lake, along the way looking at the Greco-Scythian settlement of Kara-Tobe.
• With children visit the largest water park of Crimea "Banana Republic".
• Drive by Peninsula and Cape Tarkhankut.

With Entertainment in Vitino, the situation is hardly better than with attractions. There is not even traditional entertainment on the beach. The only place where you can take children is a new modern playground next to the beach, where children can play for free. Also in the village you can find horseback riding, fishing, and even diving.   Less than a kilometer from the center of the village there is Airchinsky lake or estuary, bottom mud which is officially recognized as therapeutic. During your vacation, you can use this gift of nature for free for cosmetic or therapeutic procedures. But since there is no infrastructure for mud treatment, you will have to extract mud from the bottom yourself and carry out procedures in the Wild on the shore. However, it is quite simple to do this: you do not have to dig pits or wells, but simply with your hands or an improvised object to go deeper below the silt level by a few centimeters, and get fresh black mud from there. If you go a little further, you can get a blue shade of dirt, which is considered more useful for cosmetic purposes.   Vitino is home to the Center for Deep Space Communications, built in Soviet times to communicate with deep space satellites and observe outer space. This is a fairly large complex of several territorial sites, which includes many telescopes, radio telescopes, antennas. This is a closed area, but at the entrance to the village you can see from the side the huge "plates" of the ktna-200 radio telescope and the ADU-1000 antenna. It is unlikely that these conditional "attractions" will be interesting to a wide range of tourists, but if you are interested in technology, you can admire these "engineering works of art" from the side through the fence. It is impossible to get close to them, excursions to the object are not made.

  Another miracle of engineering, the RT-70 radio telescope (P-2500), is located five kilometers from Vitino on the way to the village Milk. This is a huge radio telescope with a mirror diameter of 70 meters and an area of 2500 square meters, and has unique characteristics: in addition to receiving signals for the purpose of studying space objects, it is also able to send powerful radio signals in order to then analyze the reflected radiation. In addition to the RT-70, only one other radio telescope in the United States has the same capabilities. Unfortunately, it is also impossible to get on it, you can only watch this hulk from afar.
