The Kingdom of Tigers (Tiger Kingdom Phuket) is a relatively new attraction on the island. In this tiger zoo, you can get very close to these cats from young to old, touch them, take pictures with them. Most tourists leave this place in complete delight and with positive impressions. But it should be borne in mind that the animals here are kept in cages, and all this is just an attraction for tourists. You will be able to take pictures and play a little with animals under the supervision of a trainer, and not communicate with them the way you want (the smallest tiger cubs are even forbidden to be picked up by the rules of the park). In addition, very little time is given for communication.
Tigers are represented here of different ages, kept in different cages. Payment is made separately for entering each cage (prices are different, the smallest cubs are the most expensive), but there is also a comprehensive visit to several cages. Before visiting, you will have to sign a paper where you take full responsibility for possible problems on yourself, and also confirm familiarization with the rules. The rules should be read carefully, they are presented, including in Russian. The owners of the park claim that it is completely safe to communicate with tigers, because they are raised in captivity and are used to people.
Some tourists believe that cats here are under the influence of medication, so they are so calm and sleepy. But the owners of the park claim that this is because tigers are naturally nocturnal animals, and they are always sleepy during the day.
There is a buffet restaurant in the park (450 baht per person). If you have no one to ask you to take pictures with tigers, the park provides its photographer for 500 baht. Children under the age of 15 are allowed in cages with tigers only with the permission of park staff. And yet, there are long queues here during the day, you will have to wait a long time, so it's better to come here early in the morning.

🚶 How to get there
The Tiger Kingdom is located in the Kathu area (on the map). Getting there is not very convenient, so it is best to use a completely free transfer, which can be ordered online on the website or by phone in Russian. Buying tours with a transfer at travel agencies on the street is more expensive.
