Description and is it worth a visit
The promenade along the Krabi River is one of the best places for evening walks in the city. There are few tourists here, because Krabi town itself is not particularly spoiled by the attention of tourists, but at least life here does not stop after 19 pm, as in most parts of the city.
There are several interesting sculptures on the embankment, including the famous metal sculpture of a crab, a fountain, an observation deck on the Khao Kanab Nam mountains, a sculpture of a sea eagle - Nok Awk. In the evening, before it gets dark, amateur fishermen with fishing rods appear on the shore, which are interesting to watch.
There are a number of cafes and restaurants across the street from the embankment, but it's much more interesting to have dinner at the local night food court, which is open after dark and until about 22 hours. Here, as in most of these traditional Thai places, all kinds of local dishes and drinks are sold from the stalls. What is noteworthy here is that there are very few European tourists among the visitors, but mostly locals and tourists from Asia. This food court is located on the waterfront opposite Chao Fah Alley Street.
