Ancient Kourion Stadium - free ruins of a sports stadium of the II century AD in the vicinity of Limassol. The stadium was designed for 6,000 spectators, and was part of the ancient city of Kourion. In the IV century it was destroyed and abandoned. Some guidebooks and maps mistakenly indicate that the stadium of Kourion is part of the paid archaeological park of Kourion, but in fact this is not the case. These are just ruins that are available to everyone. Especially here you should not go, only if you drop by on the way. Spend no more than 5 minutes here.

🚶 How to get there
located 15 kilometers from the city center (Stadium on the map), you can get there by rented transport, taxi or city #70 which goes only 2-3 times a day, costs 1.5 EUR (132 rubles, see Cyprus currency and exchange rate. It is better to combine the visit with a visit to Archaeological Park of Kourion. Located right next to the road, but hidden by bushes and no sign, use the Navigator.
