Description and is it worth a visit
The Saturday Night Market of Chiang Rai is another place in addition to the daily night market, where you can and should go in the evening if you are lucky enough to be in Chiang Rai on Saturday. Unlike the daily Chiang Rai Night Market, this one works only on Saturday evenings, but its scope is much larger. Several streets are closed for traffic here at once, a stage is set up on the square in front of the city park, and the weekly fun begins. As always, in the center of everything there is a large street food court, countless fast food stalls, and kilometer-long rows of sellers of consumer goods, handicrafts, souvenirs. Local folk ensembles and artists perform on the stage, and the funniest guests of the city join the general dances. In general, it's very fun and cool, and this is even a reason to come to Chiang Rai on Saturday.
