This Ferry Stopped Now!!!
Since January 1, 2017, there is a new way to get from Pattaya to Hua Hin and back: The ferry service between the two popular resorts, interrupted for many years, has been resumed again. Now the way between the two resorts in 320 kilometers instead of 6 hours by bus can be overcome by ferry in just 2 hours. However, the cost of such a route is almost three times higher.
Travel time:
the high-speed ferry takes an hour and a half, it takes two hours from the moment of boarding to disembarking
Cost:
The one-way price is 1200 baht (36 USD), but can be revised both up and down. Of course, this is much higher than moving by bus (from 470 baht), but the time savings are great.
Schedule:
- Departure from Pattaya – 10:30
- Departure from Hua Hin – 13:30
Unfortunately, while the company does not guarantee the exact observance of the schedule, and there were delays in shipping up to 8 hours.
Where ferries depart from:

In Hua Hin, the ferry departs from the Saphan Pla pier, which is located on the outskirts of the city behind Khao Takiab Mountain (Hua Hin Marina on the map). You can get from here to the center by taxi. If you want to get there on a budget, then you need to go around Khao Takiab mountain (about 1 km), and take a shuttle bus from 15 baht on the main Takiap Road (see minibus in Hua Hin)
