Description and is it worth a visit
Soi Cowboy is a small street in Sukhumvit district, one of the most famous adult entertainment streets in Bangkok. Of course, this is far from the place where you should go to see something interesting or beautiful, or just to take a walk, i.e. it's not a tourist attraction at all. But if you are looking for a place where you can have fun in the evening in an adult way, then this is one of the best options. In addition to Soi Cowboy, there are two other similar places in Bangkok: Patpong Street (Patpong) in Silom district, and the entertainment center Nana Plaza (Nana Plaza) again in Sukhumvit district. However, do not compare all these streets for adults with the famous tourist street Khao San Road, because there is a completely different environment and completely different entertainment.
So, Soi Cowboy itself is a very short street, rather an alley with a length of a little more than 100 meters. But these meters are packed with bars, Go Go clubs and other adult establishments. Moreover, it is not necessary to go here solely in order to finish the evening in the room with a girl (well, or with a boy, who likes what). In fact, it's quite good to spend time here and just have a beer at the bar and enjoy chatting with other tourists, expats or successful Thais. Of course, you can eat here, in many establishments there is a full-fledged kitchen with Thai, European, Korean and other cuisines.
By the way, for information, beer is quite expensive here, about 200 baht (approximately 6.13 USD, currency of Thailand) for a bottle of Tiger or Singha. But in some bars there are daily promotions or Happy Hours at a certain time, when, for example, a small bottle of beer is sold for 90 baht (approximately 2.76 USD). So if you just want to sit here and have a beer and not spend too much, then don't rush to sit down at the first bar you see, but it's better to go see prices and promotions.

It is best to visit Soi Cowboy in the evening after dark, it's after about 18:00. There is absolutely nothing to do here during the day, since all bars and establishments are closed.

🚶 How to get there
Soi Cowboy is located in the central part of Bangkok in the Sukhumvit district next to the Sukhumvit road of the same name (Soi Cowboy on the map).
If your hotel is located in this area, you can walk or take a taxi for an average of 100 baht. From other parts of Bangkok, you can get here by metro to the Asok Skytrain station, or to the Sukhumvit underground subway station. You can't get from the popular tourist area of Khao San Road by metro, so you'll either have to take a taxi (200-300 baht) or city buses with a transfer.
