Sudak is not such a small town to move around on foot. Of course, if you settle in a hotel near the beach and in addition to relaxing on the beach you will not care about anything, information about local public transport for you will not be particularly relevant. If you are an active and economical traveler, you can use the local public transport system of several bus routes to move around the city and its surroundings.
City bus routes in Sudak are not particularly developed, however, they cover the main tourist places. Using local transport, literally for 9-15 rubles you can move not only around the city, but also visit neighboring villages, including Novy Svet village. Unfortunately, local urban transport has retained all the worst of public transport since the Soviet Union, i.e. it is often crowded, does not run on schedule, stops running early.
Virtually all city and suburban buses run from or through Sudak bus station (station on the map). Moreover, on some routes, in particular, on the bus to the village of Novy Svet, in the daytime, due to overcrowding, you can only sit at the terminal (Sudak bus station), so it is better to first get to the bus station on any route, and then get on the transport.
