Volna is a Black Sea tourist village, but it will suit you only if you are looking for remote and quiet places for a beach holiday, where there are few tourists and a very quiet peaceful environment. The beach in Volna is Sandy, deserted, the depth is small and suitable for children. Since the Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov are close, the water here warms up earlier than in other Black Sea resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimea. Perhaps for this reason, Dolphins like to appear off the local shores. You can see them very close even from the shore, and if you are lucky, and swim with them. There are no amenities and entertainment on the beach, it is completely wild. What is inconvenient, on the way to the beach you will have to overcome a considerable descent every time.

Infrastructure in the village is very poorly developed. In the center there is a grocery store, there are several cafes for tourists. There is no ATM and there are few places where you can pay with a card, so when going here, be sure to take cash. The nearest ATMs are in Veselovka and Taman.

There are no equipped campsites, but you can stay in your tent right on the beach. How to get to the village of Volna

Volna is located 12 kilometers from Taman and 210 from Krasnodar (Wave on the map). Public transport here is very poorly developed. You can get to the village only by bus from Anapa Via Taman (bus # 612, departure from Anapa at 07:00, 13:15, back at 10:15, 17:15, cost 190 USD). Moreover, this bus is often canceled even at the height of the season, so you should not count on it.   You can get from the airport by bus number 612, but it runs only twice a day at 07:00, 13:15, and sometimes canceled. The bus starts from the Anapa bus station and calls at the airport, so there is still a chance not to get on it at the airport due to overcrowding.

  From regions to the East (Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Yekaterinburg, etc.) you can go through Volgograd, and then through Salsk or Rostov. You can also set a route through Elista to see unique sights of Kalmykia, which will be enough for half a day.

Attractions and entertainment in Veselovka, what to see and do

In Veselovka there are no attractions, and traditional tourist entertainment is minimal. Nearby is the only natural attraction that can be attributed to the resort – a Salt Lake, which is below.

All other interesting places in the vicinity of Veselovka will have to be reached by Transport. On Veselovka beach during the high season there are water activities: banana, jet ski rental, catamaran rental. But there is no guarantee that these entertainments will be presented during your trip. But there is always the opportunity to master active sports windsurfing or kitesurfing. On the Bugaz spit (along the beach towards Anapa) there is a famous windsurfing station winds club and several kite spots. They offer training and equipment rental. Salt Lake in Veselovka

This lake is a natural landmark, officially a natural monument "Lake salty". It is a shallow bay of the Black Sea, separated by a sandbar 50-100 meters wide. In winter, water accumulates in it, and in summer it almost completely dries up and becomes covered with a crust, under which there is a therapeutic muddy mud saturated with trace elements.
