There are no attractions in Golubitskaya at all, unless you consider a mud lake with conditionally therapeutic mud as such. There are not very many interesting places in the surrounding area. For example, with an excursion or on your own, you can visit one of the mud volcanoes, go to the museum in Temryuk, and that's it. Distributors on the street and in travel agencies offer excursions to various more distant sights of the Krasnodar Territory and to the Crimea for one or several days, the choice is very large. Here, for example, are some of the most popular excursions from Golubitskaya with prices (the price does not include the entrance fee):
- Kerch and the Crimean Bridge - 900
- Lotus Valley - 350
- Hephaestus Volcano - 350
- Feodosia and Koktebel - 1300
- Anapa evening – 600
Excursions to the lotus Lake and to the mud volcanoes of the Taman Peninsula with therapeutic mud are especially popular (there are paid and free volcanoes). If you travel by your own transport, we advise you to also visit the sights of Taman during the day.

But with various kinds of tourist entertainment for children and adults, everything is much better here. Golubitskaya has two amusement parks, a water park, a zoo, a dolphinarium, an oceanarium, a crocodile farm, and several mini-zoos. Moreover, some of the entertainment in Golubitskaya is the only one of its kind on the entire Taman Peninsula, and people come here to have fun during the day even from other resorts. You can even say that this is the entertainment center of the peninsula. For adults and young people there are several nightclubs and restaurants: Malibu nightclub, stylized cafe "Old Mill", disco bar "Shadow", open-air bar "Reeds", nightclub "Corsair".
Below is a list of the main attractions and entertainment in Golubitskaya with an indication of their opening hours, cost, and ways to get to them yourself. If you are traveling by car, we recommend downloading from our map of Golubitskaya Point in KML/KMZ format to download them to the navigator or smartphone applications Organic Maps, Google maps, etc.
Mud volcanoes
Mud volcanoes are a rare geological formation. The terrain of the Taman Peninsula is rich in such formations, there are about a dozen of them here. Some of them are equipped for tourist visits for a fee, but there are also those that you can visit yourself, and, in our opinion, they are even more interesting.
However, do not expect that you will see fountains of mud bursting out of the mouth. Although these formations do have a structure similar to real lava volcanoes, in fact most of them are hills, on top of which volcanic mud flows out of the "vent" in a small trickle. On some volcanoes, there may be several places of expiration, and some are in a "asleep" state, and may not spew anything at all when visiting. By the way, this mud is considered therapeutic, and mud baths have even been equipped on some volcanoes. Here are the most famous: Golubitsky volcano, Tizdar, Hephaestus or Rotten Mountain, Shugo, Azov hell or Plevak, Miska, Akhtanizovskaya Sopka, Karsov, volcano in Taman. Read more about mud volcanoes and how to get to them here..., and below read more about the most touristic.

It is also known as the Golubitsky mud volcano. This is a fairly large lake with a length of about half a kilometer, which is considered to be of volcanic origin. On its shores and bottom there is therapeutic mud, popularly known as therapeutic, but there is no evidence of this. Tourists and some locals visit it and smear themselves with "therapeutic" mud for their own pleasure. Those who do not want to smear themselves together with everyone can take mud baths in an open-air improvised mud clinic equipped nearby. Find out about the Golubitskoe mud lake here.

By the way, this makes it more convenient for tourists: here you can take mud baths, and immediately wash off the dirt with sea water, and even swim if desired. The beach next to the volcano itself is also remarkable: instead of sand, the entire shore is strewn with shells of all sizes, colors and shapes. The use of mud is free. Temryuk Museum of History and Military Equipment
The Temryuk Historical and Archaeological Museum is a complex of three museums in Temryuk. The most popular of them among tourists is the open-air museum of military equipment "Military Hill", although we recommend not to ignore the other two either. Each of the museums is visited separately by a separate ticket.
- In the museum "Military Hill" on a spacious field there are several dozen samples of military equipment that participated in the defense of the city of Temryuk and the Taman Peninsula during the Second World War, and later weapons. The site of the museum is clean and well-groomed, there are signatures to the exhibits.

Raccoon House
This is a mini zoo and a petting zoo. In addition to raccoons, there are crocodile, goats, peacock, turkey, turtles, otters, and aquariums with fish. The main idea of the zoo is the so-called raccoon therapy, during which animals can be petted, fed, cuddled with them. A petting zoo without raccoons is conditional, and is just cages with pets that can be fed through the bars, and that's it, so it's not worth visiting it separately. When visiting you, a local photographer will "get" you, and if you do not intend to buy a photo from him, it is better to say so right away, otherwise he will be too intrusive to photograph you and interfere.
Practical Information
🕐 Working hours: from 10:00 to 21:00.

Crocodile Farm
This is a zoo-terrarium, as stated, the largest in Russia. There are crocodiles and other reptiles, more than 200 species in total, there are monkeys, raccoons, birds. An animal show is organized daily, and for an additional fee you can feed the predators with a whole chicken. This place will definitely appeal to children, especially if they have not been to such places before. If you have visited crocodile farms in tropical countries, you will most likely be a little disappointed here.
Which is good, the price includes the services of a guide, without whose story it would not be very interesting here. There is a problem with very "annoying" and arrogant photographers who offer their services very aggressively and will photograph you without permission.
