Peresyp and Za Rodinu - two resort villages on the coast of the Sea of Azov in the Krasnodar Territory, 20 kilometers from Temryuk, 170 from Krasnodar and 1470 from Moscow (settlements on the map. They are close to each other, there is not even a clear border between them, so in our guide we will consider them as one resort.

About these beach resorts from the first pages in some "internet guides" you can find enthusiastic descriptions of a paradise holiday that everyone will like. In fact, everything is not so, and rest in these villages should be approached with caution, so as not to spoil it with unjustified expectations.

Objectively speaking, these are the most poorly developed resort villages in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory. They rather resemble a holiday village, rather than a full-fledged resort. There is practically nothing tourist here, except for the beaches themselves and accommodation options, most of which are private guest houses and apartments. Along the main highway there are several cafes, a canteen, a market and a couple of grocery stores. There is nothing on the beaches either, they are completely wild here. The only tourist that is in these villages is the health and entertainment complex "island of health" with the mud volcano Tizdar on the territory. As a result, you will have to organize your own rest and leisure here, even to the point that you will have to go shopping in Golubitskaya or Temryuk, and go to the beach with your mattress, umbrella from the sun and a set of food and drinks.

But this does not mean that we definitely do not recommend going here, you just need to understand whether the rest is suitable for you here. Resorts are perfect if you only need the beach, the sea, and a place to spend the night and eat, and everything else does not matter. After all, rest by the sea as in the country, too, many will like. And if you like to rest in a tent, then this is generally the best option in the Temryuk district, since there are many organized and spontaneous car camps near the villages on the shore. Just remember about the water-protected zone 500 meters from the water if you decide to set up your tent camp. According to the water code, it is impossible to park cars in areas not equipped for this purpose with water protection, otherwise – a fine of 3000 rubles.

Which of the two villages to choose, the fundamental difference. They are close to each other and there is no border between them, so you will not even understand how you got from one to the other. But in Peresyp, the usual urban infrastructure is slightly more developed (shops, pharmacies, cafes), more accommodation options.

• There is no tourist infrastructure, none at all, except for hotels and housing

Beaches in Peresyp and abroad

The beaches here are sandy, long and very wide. In some places, the width of the sand strip reaches 100 meters, and only within the settlements it stretches continuously for 3 kilometers, and more than 10 kilometers to kuchugury resort. So there is enough space for everyone, the beaches here are never filled with tourists, but rather on the contrary very deserted. There are many exits to the beach, access is not limited anywhere.

On the shore there is yellow sand everywhere, there are fragments of shells. The slope of the bottom is very weak, the depth is small. The water, like everywhere else on the Sea of Azov, is cloudy, especially in bad weather. The tides do not appear.

There is no infrastructure and entertainment on the shore. In the place of access to the beach near Cafe Tropicanka there are sun beds and umbrellas for rent, but they are not always there. Therefore, prepare everything in advance for a beach holiday: a litter or mattress, a beach umbrella, drinks and food.

In Peresyp and Za Rodina there are about a hundred accommodation options. Most of it is a private fund: rooms, houses, apartments for rent. There are few hotels with amenities and service here:

Along the coast in the direction of Golubitskaya there are many equipped campsites and recreation centers. The cost of a place for a car and a scarf in a campsite is from 500 rubles per day, a bungalow in a campsite or housing in a village from 350 rubles per person.

Weather in Peresyp and abroad, tourist seasons

• 🌞 you need to go in the summer from June to August. This is the beach season and the best time to relax. Sometimes the beginning of June can be cool and rainy.

• ⛅ you can go in May and September. These months are suitable if there is simply no other option, but you really want to rest. It can be cool for comfortable rest and swimming, moreover, in May and in the first half of June there are frequent rains, clouds and strong winds. If you choose one of these two months, it is better to go in September than in May.

• 🌨 do not go from October to April. To go here on vacation outside the beach season makes no sense at all.

How to get to Peresyp and abroad

It is most convenient to get to the resorts by private transport. If this is not possible, then the most convenient way is to fly to the nearest Anapa Airport "Vityazevo", and from there take a taxi 60 kilometers, or order a ready-made tourist transfer on the website kiwitaxi.ru. Further are the airports of Gelendzhik (140 kilometers) and Krasnodar (160 kilometers). By train you can get to Anapa, Krasnodar, Slavyansk-on-Kuban or Krymsk, and from there again by taxi.

If you are not ready to spend money on a taxi, you can go all the way by public transport, but first you need to go to Temryuk (see how to get to Temryuk here...). From Temryuk from the bus station on the local bus number 107 or 107A you will need to get to the villages. These buses run twice a day at 11:30 and 17:30, and back at 07:30 and 13:00, the fare is 80 rubles, the journey is 30 minutes. If you do not get to the time of departure of these buses, then you can get from the bus station by taxi, the cheapest when ordering through the Yandex.money app.

Attractions and entertainment in the resorts Peresyp and Za Rodina

There are very few attractions and entertainment here. You can visit the Therapeutic complex "island of Health" and mud volcano Tizdar (also known as Lake Blue Beam), contact mini-zoo, go on an excursion to the valley of lotuses; rent a boat for fishing or walking along the shore.

In addition, on the territory of the Taman Peninsula there are several more interesting sights and entertainment, but they will have to go. These are several mud volcanoes and lakes with therapeutic mud, the historical and military equipment Museum in Temryuk, the Museum of the Cossacks. For entertainment, it is best to go to the neighboring resort in the village of Golubitskaya, where there is a dolphinarium, a water park, a zoo, a Crocodile Farm, Amusement Parks, an aquarium. You will have to visit all these places on your own transport or taxi, since the only bus to Golubitskaya and Temryuk goes very rarely, and there are no excursions in the villages.

• Mud volcano Tizdar and the complex "island of Health"

  

  Mud volcano Tizdar, also known as Lake Blue Beam, is located on the territory of the wellness complex "island of health", access to which is paid. It is worth recovering here not only for the sake of the volcano itself, but for the whole day to relax, have fun, and slightly correct your health with healing mud from the volcano. On the territory there is a sandy beach on the shore of the Sea of Azov, a cafe, a free wine tasting and a wine spa, a playground, a contact mini-zoo, a playground and an attraction "locomotive".   🚶 How to get there: the complex and volcano are located in the village of Za Rodina, 15 kilometers from Golubitskaya on the way to Kuchuguri (volcano on the map. You can get here by taxi, private car, or with a day tour, which are offered at the resorts of Kuchuguri and Golubitskaya. If you will rest in the village of Peresyp, you can get there on foot along the beach or by road.

• Lotus Valley

  

  Lotus Valley is one of the most popular excursions from Golubitskaya, which almost every vacationer recovers. It is a boat ride along the canal and Lake-estuary, filled with blooming lotuses. The trip is accompanied by a story about these plants and the nature of the region.

  🕐 Working hours: excursions depart during the day approximately every 15 minutes from the end of June to August. Check about the beginning or end of the season on the spot before buying excursions.

  🚶 How to get there: excursions to the valley are sold by distributors on the street and in stationary "stalls" selling excursions in the resort. You can also drive yourself to the pier, from where the boats depart. The pier is located in the village of Peresyp (Lotus Valley pier on the map), you can get there by bus number 107 from Temryuk to Kuchuguri, which passes not through the resort itself, but by the main road.
