What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
In the tourist area of Kato Paphos there are two places with ruins of medieval Ottoman (Turkish) baths. Both ruins have a similar design, and presumably were built at the same time, although the exact date of construction is not established. The Ottoman period in Cyprus lasted from 1571 to 1914, although in fact since 1878 control over the island was exercised by the British Empire.
Today you can see the ruins outside, inside the baths access is not yet possible. But do not confuse these baths with the paid Loutra Turkish baths, which are in a different area and are available for inspection inside. It will take a few minutes to inspect and photograph, so you should visit them while walking around the city to other attractions, you should not go purposefully.
