Description and is it worth a visit
Ho Aoc Pagoda (Ho Aoc Temple) is the largest pagoda and monastery, one of the unique architectural structures on the island of Phu Quoc . A very popular and popular place among tourists and travelers. You can come here on your own, and also its visit is included in some sightseeing tours of the island. In general, there are not so many beautiful and worth visiting temples in Phu Quoc, and this one, along with Su Muon Pagoda, is definitely worth a visit.
This temple complex is relatively new, was officially opened in 2012. Like many other temples in Vietnam that have been under construction for decades, this one is also under protracted construction. But the scale here is surprising. The area of the temple complex is simply huge, it houses the temple itself, a meditation center, small religious pavilions, a lake, living quarters for monks and pilgrims, a cafe, a gift shop, a toilet and a large parking lot. In general, for a walk and a leisurely inspection, allocate more time.
The territory of the pagoda is very colorfully decorated with flowering plants, various figures and statues, many picturesque places for photos and just pleasing to the eye.
A wide staircase with dragons leads to the temple, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the main gate of the temple and seascapes.
Ho Kwok is primarily a spiritual place, so you should not visit the temple in short shorts and T–shirts. In this case, take free capes yourself near the main entrance gate. Also, there is no need to shout and talk loudly on the territory of the monastery. When entering the temple buildings, you need to take off your shoes.
