Yang Bay Waterfalls is not just a waterfall, but a whole eco–park with recreation and entertainment areas, swimming pools, hot springs, mud baths, a zoo, a crocodile farm and much more. And all this is visited by one ticket. In our opinion, this is a great place for a relaxing holiday and pleasant impressions, where you should definitely go from Nha Trang. And if you compare, for example, with other popular tourist Ba Ho Waterfalls, then we would definitely recommend coming to Yang Bay. But if time and money allow, it is better to visit both places in order to decide for yourself where it is more interesting for you.
There are group excursions from Nha Trang to Yang Bay, but they are limited in time and do not allow you to see the whole park and enjoy swimming in the hot springs and waterfall here to the fullest. Therefore, again, our personal recommendation is to come here on your own, and preferably for the whole day.
How to visit
The territory of the waterfalls and the park is large, so the movement here is organized on golf carts or trailers, depending on the number of visitors. Walking is also possible, but then you will have to walk a lot under the scorching sun, which is not very good. It is forbidden to use your own transport here to move around more of the park (although it is not clear why).
That is, the visiting scheme is as follows: you arrive at the park, pay for admission. You drive a little further to the parking lot and the information center, and then you move around the park on these very golf carts or "steam trains" with trailers, they are included in the price. They are always on duty at the parking lot and information center, so when you get there and park, they will immediately put you in and take you to the first point of the route (usually these are hot springs). But they don't wait locally, and in order to go back to the parking lot or to another point in the park, you will need to call them by phone (preferably from a local SIM card, of course) and call, either wait for the next tourists to arrive, or tell them in advance how long it will take to pick you up.
All this is not very convenient, but it's so organized here. And what's bad, golf carts are carried along the standard route between the largest points, these are hot springs, a waterfall, a crocodile farm. At the same time, they do not stop near lesser-known points unless they are asked. But there are many more points here, we will tell you about them later. And in order to navigate by them, a paper card is issued when buying tickets.
What to look at here and the main points
The first place where visitors are taken from the main entrance is the mineral springs zone. Without a doubt – the most visited and most pleasant place. There are six pools with mineral water of different temperatures from 20C to 45C, the water feels warm and cool, as such there is no hot water here. The temperature is indicated on the sides of the pools. The place is equipped with tables, sun loungers, a sunshade, a toilet, changing rooms and is guarded by staff. For an additional fee, you can swim in a mud/therapeutic bath (from 250,000 VND).
Yang Bay Waterfall is located in another part of the park, you need to go to it or go by golf cart. A concrete path leads from the parking lot to the waterfall on the left along the stream. There is no ascent as such, go on a flat road. In the depressions-lakes formed by the rapid flow, you can swim, but the water flows so fast that it is not easy and can be a little dangerous. Downstream you can swim safely, there are also small fish swimming here that will do the peeling of your body.
In addition, there are many interesting places for adults and children on the territory of the eco-park. This is a mini-zoo, crocodile farm, lakes with lotuses, with carp. If desired, you can feed animals, crocodiles. Special pleasure for children is caused by feeding from a bottle of carp, which are reaching for another portion of milk.
At a certain time, a costumed musical performance of the Raglai people is arranged (at 10:45). The mini-zoo hosts pig races (at 10:00 and 14:00) and cockfights (at 10:10 and 14:10). But the time of events may vary, check all this when buying tickets to the park or on the website (link below).
The entire park area is beautifully decorated with flowering plants, bizarre sculptures and installations. You can go into a small vegetable garden, where seasonal fruits and vegetables grow, make a wish, standing at the tree of desires. There is a cafe on site, but you can rent a barbecue and charcoal, accommodation in rooms and tents is available. The information on the plates is duplicated in Russian.
Useful information to visit
- At the entrance, a card is issued on which all points for visiting and a phone number for calling a golf cart are marked.
- In addition to the standard ticket, you can purchase service packages that include mud and herbal baths.
- Delivery from place to place within the park is carried out by a golf cart, which takes and leaves back to the central parking lot near the information center. To make a call, you need to call the driver, so if your connection is "without calls", you will have to walk back, wait for a "passing" golf cart or ask other tourists or staff to call it.

🚶 How to get there
Yang Bay Waterfalls is one of the farthest attractions of Nha Trang, located 40 km to the west, on the way to Dalat (Yang Bay on the map). However, despite such remoteness, we recommend that you definitely go here.

You can also visit Yang Bay yourself by taxi, but it will be much more expensive. A one-way trip when ordering through Grab or Maxim applications will cost from 600,000 VND, and 1,200,000 round trip, respectively (45.63 USD). It is cheaper to arrange a round trip with waiting at a fixed price with private drivers on the street or through the hotel reception.
Finally, the easiest way is an excursion. They are sold in street travel agencies and hotels, the cost starts from $ 34 per person. You can also buy such excursions online on review sites.
