Description and is it worth a visit
Ba Ho Waterfall (Ba Ho Waterfall) is a tourist recreation area north of Nha Trang with a cascade of small waterfalls. The main thing they come here for is to swim in the natural lakes formed by the waterfall and jump into the water. There are three lakes in total, located at different levels and by a descending stream, connected to each other and all surrounded by shady jungles. It's a long way to go here on purpose, however, if your desire is to relax and unwind for a whole day away from the hustle and bustle and in silence, then you will definitely like it here.
In addition to natural attractions, the tourist infrastructure here is well equipped for recreation. It offers a restaurant, a cafe, a swimming pool, picnic areas, toilets, kayaks, kayaks, jet skis, and surfboards for entertainment. If you wish, you can book a bungalow or even stay with a tent on the shore.
After buying an entrance ticket, visitors are put on a buggy and taken to a fork, where they can continue to walk two routes. One is simple, on an asphalt road, along which a buggy runs, but for an additional fee (40,000 VND), although from our own experience of visiting this place, we do not recommend using its services, because it does not take you to the lakes themselves, but to walk about 1 kilometer on a flat road in the shade of trees for no one it will not be difficult. The second is more complicated, the so-called eco-trail, runs along the rocky shore along the stream. You can walk along it, but it is overgrown and you will have to make your way through thickets of bushes.
Then both roads converge and the most interesting thing begins – the climb to the lakes. This part of the way is a bit extreme: you have to climb huge boulders, but fortunately the trail is equipped with ropes and brackets to facilitate the ascent. Nevertheless, it does not hurt to have good physical fitness, especially to walk to the 2nd and 3rd lakes. Without good trekking shoes, we do not advise you to go, you may get injured. With small children, it is really possible to walk to the 1st lake, and it is better not to go further.
You can swim in all the lakes, and even jump into the water in the 1st and 2nd. A nice bonus for swimmers will be the peeling of local fish. Rescuers monitor the safety of each lake, there are life jackets available.
Useful information to visit:
- The entrance ticket includes the use of the pool, water sports, 1 bottle of water or soda (optional).
- If you plan a full-day trip, you can organize a picnic, bring groceries with you, and rent a barbecue with a beehive (from 100,000 VND) for a small fee.
- In the dry season, the flow of water is noticeably reduced and, if you can still swim, then jumping into the water can be dangerous.
- Put on shoes, at least sneakers, and at most trekking shoes, because you will have to climb over rocks, and free your hands to grab tightly when climbing.
- After the rains, the stones are wet and slippery – be careful, take your time.
- There are monkeys in the forest here, they can steal your things, so it's best not to leave them unattended.
