Khowyai Waterfall (also Khow Yai) is located in the southern part of Koh Samui Islands about halfway from the ring road to Tarnim Waterfall and Secret Buddha Garden, as well as Paradise Park. Right on the road there is a sign for the descent towards the waterfall, and the transport will have to be left here. Although the sign says that the waterfall is 30 meters away, in fact it is at least 200 meters to go. Along the way, you will meet a person who collects 20 baht for entry (see currency of Thailand, exchange rate).
The waterfall itself is generally high, but consists of several small cascades, quite picturesque. Along the way you will meet several natural pools and a gazebo. Everything is well equipped, paths and steps are built, there is a statue of a girl at the top. Like all other waterfalls on Koh Samui, there is practically nothing to do here in the dry season, because the waterfall turns into a streamlet.

🚶 How to get there
You can only get to the waterfall by taxi or rented transport (Khowyai on the map). Transport should be left on the road or parking lot of a nearby observation deck for 20 baht, and then go down the path to the waterfall on foot for about 200 meters.
