Description and is it worth a visit
Wat Ming Muang Temple is a very beautiful ancient temple, which is usually bypassed by tourists, but in vain. It was founded in the XIII century by Queen Ta La Mae Sri, the wife of King Mengrai the Great, the founder of the city of Chiang Rai.
Unfortunately, nothing more could be found out about his story, but it was very interesting to visit him. Its architecture and elements are somehow inexplicably different from other city temples, they breathe antiquity. Although, of course, it can be seen that the temple has been rebuilt many times. Inside the viharna there is a painting of the founder of the temple. And yet, to the left of the main entrance to the temple there is a monastery building, be sure to climb to its roof.
