Description and is it worth a visit
The name of this temple is also spelled as Wat Phrathat Sawi. If you believe the legend, then this temple is very ancient, or rather, it was built on the site of a very ancient temple. According to this legend, the army of King Si-Thamma Sokarat stopped here for rest. They noticed that a lot of crows, including albinos, constantly flock to one place with the ruins. The king saw this as a sign and gave the order to clear the ruins. As a result, an ancient pagoda was discovered under them, inside which relics belonging to the Buddha himself were kept in a jar. After that, the pagoda was rebuilt on this site.
