These hot springs are located far to the south of Chumphon province, almost on the border with the neighboring province of Surat Thani, but despite the distance, it is worth coming here. There are three sources with their own names: Auey Ar-ree Than Thip, Amarit Thara and Preuksa Chonlathan. Hot natural mineral water with a temperature of 55-56 degrees rises from the depths of the earth due to the presence of nearby mountains (the springs are located at the foot of one of the mountains). Anyone can take healing hot baths here, and since this place is ennobled and landscaped, access to the springs is paid. There is both a communal pool and private baths (but not in the house, but in the open air).
There are conditional wild jungles around the springs, in which you can even see forest animals. Another good addition to the trip here are the Tham Khao caves.

🚶 How to get there
The springs are located in the extreme south of the province almost on the border with suratthani province (hot springs on the map), and from Chumphon you can drive 100 kilometers. There is no special public transport here, but you can take minivans and buses from Chumphon to the south, to Surat Thani. Back in the city, the bus can be caught right on the highway. Another option is to take the train to Ban Duat station (almost 2 hours drive), and from there to the springs on foot 20-30 minutes.
If you drive yourself by rented transport, then after driving through the city of Lamae along the AH2 highway (road 41), you need to drive another 7 kilometers and turn left towards the village of Ban Duad. 500 meters after the turn there will be springs.
