How to get from Mineralnye Vody airport to the city and resorts

From the airport in the daytime (from 6 am to 19:30) to the city center there are shuttle buses No. 11 (to the new bus station and railway station). Travel costs 20 rubles, run every 20-30 minutes, on the way 20 minutes. Right at the exit from the station is the final stop of suburban and city buses, and a little further 5 minutes on foot stop "Stometrovka". From here buses depart to Pyatigorsk, Zheleznovodsk, Essentuki. By train

From the railway station Minvod on suburban trains you can leave/come from many cities, but the most useful route for tourists is Kislovodsk. In this direction, electric trains make stops at all major resorts in the region: Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk, Essentuki. They run on a schedule from 4 am to 20 pm every few minutes with breaks of up to one hour. In general, you can easily come to the station at any time of the day and wait for the next train, go quite often. Travel to Kislovodsk (the farthest) costs 173 rubles, an hour and a half on the way.

Starting in the autumn of 2019, between Minvody and Kislovodsk, in addition to the usual trains, high-speed trains "Lastochka" are also launched four times a day, which make only three stops on the way (in Pyatigorsk, Essentuki, Lermontovsky), and travel the way in 55 minutes instead of an hour and a half. By bus

Minvody is connected by regular bus service with Moscow and the cities of the south of the Russian Federation, and there are flights from Minsk, Tbilisi, the cities of the Crimea. In addition to long-distance buses, there are suburban flights to the resorts of the Stavropol Territory.

You can get to the bus station by buses/minibuses №16, 2, 3, 6, 11 (from the airport), 14, 17, 108, 17, 105, 106A, 108, 119, 128b, 223b. From the railway station there are buses 102A, 11, 14, 16, 17, 22A, 3A. however, please note that the bus stops are 500 meters from the bus station, and if you have large suitcases, it is better to take a taxi.

In addition to this station, suburban buses depart from the bus stop "Stometrovka" near the railway station (stop on the map). These are buses No. 223 to Kislovodsk and No. 107 to Pyatigorsk. They do not go exactly on schedule, but about every 25 minutes from 06 AM to 19 pm.

By car

A good E50 road leads to Mineralnye Vody, and further to the resorts of the region there are also good roads, and even a motorway. There are no problems with parking in the city, with the exception of the only street 22 of the Party Congress. On this Main Street there are prohibition signs everywhere, but it is worth moving off it into any alley, as you can park your car without problems.

Transport, how to move around the city

In Mineralnye Vody, there is a public transport system of 20 with a small number of minibuses (fixed-route taxis), and five suburban bus flights. They can be reached almost anywhere in the city, to the airport, as well as to Kislovodsk and Pyatigorsk. Buses run from 6 am to 19-20 pm depending on the route.
