The largest tourist night market in Phu Quoc (Phu Aoc Night Market or Bach Dang Night Market) is located in Duong Dong. The market area is not very large, basically everything is concentrated on the main street along the river and in the alleys adjacent to it. Unlike other Phu Quoc markets located in tourist areas, this one is more "natural" or traditional, not only tourists come here in the evenings, but also residents of Duong Dong. There is everything from food to jewelry. The choice of clothes, souvenirs is mediocre, but if desired, there will be plenty to choose from.
But in order to eat something exotic and fresh seafood, this market is definitely worth a visit. Traditional Vietnamese fast food is widely represented here, there are kebabs and barbecue, seafood, noodles, rice, desserts, drinks and much more. You can eat in a cafe or restaurant. And if you buy something from the trays, you can sit down at a plastic table. You can take food with you, you just need to say "Take Away", and you will be packed in plastic containers and bags. However, in our experience of visiting this market, the prices here are very high. Perhaps the high price is called to tourists and you can bargain, but the fact that the price is initially called even higher than in tourist areas is a fact. So if you want to eat something here at an affordable price, you'll have to bargain.

🚶 How to get there
The night market in Duong Dong operates on Duong Ly Tu Trong and Duong Bach Dang streets, this is the central part of the city near the bay and fishing piers (night market on the map). City buses No. 17 and No. 19 go here. You can also take a taxi or a rented motorbike/car, we told you all about transportation in Phu Quoc here...
If you come here on a motorbike, you will have to spin around and look for a place for free parking. We stayed for free in front of the Kao Dai Temple. You can also park next to Dinh Kau Temple and lighthouse, and from there walk here along the bay promenade. Right next to the market on the main street on the sidewalk in the evenings there is a paid parking for motorbikes of 10,000 VND (0.38 USD).
