VinWonders Cable Car and Amusement Park (formerly Vinpearl Land) is the most famous amusement park in Nha Trang, one might say, the business card of the resort. It is definitely worth visiting during your vacation, especially if you are with children or like to have fun, as they say, to the fullest.
Until recently, the cable car in Nha Trang was considered the longest in the world, laid over the sea. Its length is 3320 meters. However, in 2018, her record was broken by the cable car in Phu Quoc, which is almost 2.5 times longer. Nevertheless, the cable car in Nha Trang remains the top place among vacationers. The trip takes only 10 minutes. From the cabins flying over the sea at an altitude of 54 meters, in clear weather, picturesque panoramas of the surrounding area open up.
A cable car connects Nha Trang with the island of Hon Tre, where there is a large amusement park VinWonders. There are several themed areas in the park, including a large water park with different types of slides and pools, from children's to extreme adults; a huge aquarium with a variety of wildlife and even a tunnel aquarium; exciting rides and a Ferris wheel; a zoo with animals and birds.
The territory is just huge, so get ready to walk a lot. A beautiful promenade and a walking area, a chic park area are great places for photo shoots. You can relax and have a snack in one of the cafes or restaurants, which are enough here. There is a beach on the island.
For an additional fee, you can test yourself on a zipline (300,000 DONG), relax in the Aquafield Korean sauna and Akoya Spa and see the colorful Tata Show.
In the aquarium, fish feeding is held daily for visitors (at 10:00 and at 17:00), a mermaid show (at 11:00 and at 15:00). There is a bird show at the zoo (at 11:00 and at 15:00). In the amusement park there will be a musical fountain show (at 18:45), and on the main square there will be a super sound, music and light performance of the international level Tata Show with the participation of costumed actors (at 19:15). Useful information to visit:
- It is possible to buy tickets for a cable car and an amusement park cheaper than at official ticket offices, travel agencies and tour booking sites, for example at Trip.com, there accept Russian cards.
- There are complex tickets, for example, including a cable car ride and a visit to an amusement park with or without a meal voucher (adult - from 1190000 VND). There are ticket options with unlimited access to the park for 2 and 3 consecutive days and even with a two-day stay on the island (adult - from 1242000 VND). After 16:00 the entrance fee is cheaper.
- On rainy and windy days, the cable car or part of the rides may not work, while when buying a ticket, even if the cable car is working, you will not be warned about it, so decide for yourself.
- There is a technical break on the cable car from 10:15 to 11:15, and if you urgently need to leave for the island or return from the island, you will want to use a speedboat at the pier.
- It is better to arrive early in the morning to have time to visit everything or take a ticket for a 2 or 3-day visit for a measured rest.
- Take sunscreens and hats with you, because the territory of the park is huge and you will have to move a lot under the scorching sun.

Daily, from 09:00 to 20:00. The cable car works with a break from 10:15 to 11:15.

- Only for the round-trip cable car, an adult from 100 cm – 200,000 VND (7.6 USD), children up to 100 cm tall – free of charge.
- Single ticket for the cable car with the amusement park VinWonders (Vinpearl) Land, adult – 950 000 VND (36.09 USD); children from 100 to 140 cm tall – 710,000 VND (2.7 USD), children up to 100 cm tall – free of charge.
- Entrance ticket to the park after 16:00 and a round–trip cable car ride for an adult - 660,000 VND (25.07 USD); children from 100 to 140 cm tall – 500,000 VND (20.89 USD), children up to 100 cm tall – free of charge.
When buying tickets at street travel agencies or online on websites Trip.com (accepts Russian cards) or klook tickets may be cheaper.
🚶 How to get there
The amusement park and Hong Che Island can be reached not only by cable car, but also by boat departing from the south pier of Nha Trang (amusement park on the map). But the most interesting way to get there is by cable car. When buying a ticket to the park and the cable car, some agencies offer a free transfer to the start of the cable car on the mainland (cable car station on the map). You can get to the beginning of the cable car yourself from the tourist quarter by bus No. 4 for 5000 or by bus VinBus No. 23 for 15,000 VND. Parking in front of the boarding terminal is free.
