Han River Embankment (Han River embankment) – a cool and beautiful promenade area in the very heart of Da Nang on the western bank of the Han River, a favorite leisure spot for local residents. It's not a very touristy place, since vacationers spend most of their time in the resort area and along the beach promenades, but in the evenings life here is bustling. Da Nang residents come here for walks after work, stroll with children, exercise, and young people sit in cafes. Everything is very atmospheric and friendly.

The embankment is quite well-equipped. Stylish cafes operate here, fast food is sold, you can drink coffee and beer. Moreover, everything is very clean and beautiful, not like what's often sold from dirty mobile carts near local markets. The promenade area is illuminated with colorful lights, there are photo zones, viewpoints with views of the river and bridges, and art objects. In general, you can come here for a full evening walk, and also eat and relax.

The main decoration of the route is the views of the river and Da Nang's famous bridges: Dragon Bridge, Sail Bridge, and Han River Bridge. To walk past three bridges, you need to cover about 2.5 kilometers, but it's worth it, as the path goes through the very center and the most impressive sections of the embankment. If you have energy left, you can continue the route for another couple of kilometers north, but it's not as fun and beautiful there.
