Description and is it worth visiting
Sail Bridge or Tran Thi Ly (Tran Thi Ly Bridge) is another beautiful new bridge across the Han River, worthy of tourists' attention. Also, like the Dragon Bridge, it was officially opened on the anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang on March 29, 2013, although it began operating even earlier. Its architecture is unique and seems more modern than that of the Dragon Bridge. At first glance, one might think that this is simple geometric architecture, since the bridge's suspensions form a triangle. However, in fact, Vietnamese traditions are also embedded here, namely, in shape it repeats a Vietnamese boat with sails, hence the name - Sail.
The bridge impresses with its scale: length - 731 meters, pylon height - 145 meters. These are very impressive dimensions for a suspension bridge. At the edges of the roadway there are pedestrian paths on both sides where you can walk freely. At night it is very beautifully illuminated, with colors smoothly changing.

🚶 How to get there
Located in the city center on the Han River (bridge on the map). It is quite far from the tourist area, 2 kilometers from the nearest point on the shore, but if desired, you can even walk in the evening along one of the central streets Nguyen Van Thoa. You can get there by taxi via apps from 30,000 dong (1.14 USD, )see Vietnam currency and its exchange rate).
We advise combining a visit to the bridge with a walk along the new Han River embankment along the river to the Dragon Bridge.
