Description and is it worth visiting
Elephant Springs Suoi Voi are located quite far from Da Nang, more than 60 kilometers away on the way to Hue and Bach Ma National Park. They are also called Elephant Waterfalls, but actually there are no real waterfalls here, just small water slides. This place is little known among tourists, mainly visited by locals. The spring area is quite large and consists of many naturally formed pools framed by stones, created by streams flowing down from the mountains.
Contrary to what some pseudo-guides write about these springs, they are not thermal springs at all; the water in them is cool and refreshing. In the natural pools formed by nature among the stones, you can swim, jump into the water, relax on the shore and sunbathe, get a massage, eat or drink beer - everything for this is available here. Around are dense forests on the slopes of two mountains, between which a stream flows and the springs are formed. The main pool is framed by stones and resembles an elephant's head, for which they got their popular name "Elephant Springs". You can go further from the parking area and the main pool, and then you will come to unequipped natural pools where there are practically never any people.
In general, it's an interesting place and suitable for coming here to relax and swim for a few hours or a whole day, rather than as a classic attraction. But we wouldn't unequivocally recommend visiting it, unless you are a big fan of little-touristed places.

🚶 How to get there
Located in the city center on the Han River (bridge on the map). It's quite far from the tourist area, 2 kilometers from the nearest point on the shore, but if desired, you can even walk in the evening along one of the central streets Nguyen Van Thoa. You can get there by taxi via apps from 30,000 dong (1.14 USD, )see Vietnam currency and exchange rate).
We advise combining a visit to the bridge with a walk along the new Han River embankment along the river to the Dragon Bridge.
